History

This glorious track was forged in the heart of a Mac in a building in London.

Basically I've got to learn how to use Logic on top of learning FL.

This tune is a product of that.

I had about an hour to start, and finish this tune.

I have made some on Logic before but never had the time to fully complete them so i pushed myself to get this one done.

Sonic Fiction Recordings 001 from the mighty @viceversadnb who are back at it and we are honoured to have them start the label with its first release.

The first track, “Can’t Let You Go”, features the warm, rnb infused and emotive vocals of Euna K. With hip hop style samples and filters layered on top of a big 808 style bass line with a touch of grit, the track feels right at home with the sound the brothers have always been known for.

“Oud,” the second track, is a deep, moody roller. It features a unique thematic sample from the Persian string instrument of the same name, which weaves through big, rolling jungle basslines, somber vocals, and atmospheric dub chords. A true head nodder.
