RISING 004 - @setenium

Dutch-born young DJ and producer Dan Van Soest is the face behind the Setenium project.
Influenced by segments such as Melodic Techno and Deep House, he has a style that navigates between various strands creating his own rhythm.
In 2007 Dan embarked on a trip to Brazil where his parents opened a club, sometime later at just 15 years old he was already in charge of the family business where he organized and promoted his own events, thus arousing his interest even more.

In 2016, with his return to the Netherlands, he started his career as a music producer, and currently participates in events as a DJ at festivals in places like Amsterdam, Belgium and some cities in Brazil.

When Tutti & Castelz formed the duo Abstraal, they never imagined how fast they
would rise to an elite status in the electronic music scene and be considered
amongst Melodic Techno's up and coming royalty.
Their futuristic sounds have led them to work in the studio with iconic acts like Olivier
Giacomotto, Teenage Mutants, Popof, Rafael Cerato, Danito & Athina, Diynamic
Music's Giza and so many other world renowned acts.
Snatched up by the Family Piknik brand in 2019, they have released with industry-
leading labels time and time again such as Black Roses, Somatic, Jannowitz, Tube &
Berger's Zehn Records, Matchy's imprit Beyond Now, and of course numerous
releases with Family Piknik Music, who invited them to play along with artist such as
Artbat, Adana Twins on its festival's main stage.

Beyond DJing and producing, Abstraal are dictating trends in dance music in many
other ways. "Based on Real Facts" is their monthly radio show on Istreem Radio and
they have hosted guests like Moonwalk, BOg, Glowal, Citizen Kain, Space Motion,
Erly Tepshi, Nico Morano and Abstraal is also a monthly guest on Maxximum Radio
"Panoramaxx invites Abstraal" broadcasted globally where listeners can find the best
new melodic house & techno tunes on the planet.
2020 and 2021 have been absolute breakout years for this French duo from Lyon
with an appearance at the crown jewel of events CERCLE, Tale of Us playing their
releases almost nightly during their summer tour and legends Sasha & Digweed
playing on of their latest remixes at Miami's world famous SPACE.
Their music is also played all over the world by artist as Oostil, Joris Voorn & more

Snow Class is an exploration of balance and precision in its purest form. Modus Novum constructs a soundscape that seems suspended in time, where each beat and texture float in a controlled, almost ritualistic space. The structure is restrained yet charged with intention: a groove that advances as if gliding on ice, steady yet silent at the same time. Steven Flynn reinterprets the journey with a more ethereal vision, expanding the harmonic spectrum without deviating from the course. Susan Right is a DJ, Producer and Live Performer known for her hardware-only setup. Her music is defined by its melodic, deep, and melancholic vibes. Embracing a dawless approach, she believes this authenticity is crucial. She is not content being just another DJ making people dance; there are plenty who excel at that. Her goal is to create an unforgettable dancefloor experience, one that stirs genuine emotions within her audience—whether it’s the rush of euphoria, the ache of melancholy, tears, or goosebumps. 

She has already graced the stages of prominent festivals such as Loveland, Mysteryland, Pleinvrees, and Komm Schon Alter, where she solidifies her place as one of the most exciting talents in the industry. 

Susan Right has quickly established herself, thanks to a few of dynamic releases on respected labels like Natura Viva, Manual Music, and Cinematique Records. Her unique sound blends deep grooves with emotive melodies. Beyond her collaborations with respected labels, she has also taken full creative control by self-releasing her most recent EPs, further showcasing her artistic vision and independence.

Her journey into electronic music began after years of mastering the saxophone at the Rotterdam Jazz School, where she studied jazz and developed a rich understanding of musical expression. With 18 years of experience behind the decks, it was her shift into music production four years ago that truly accelerated her career. Now, her primary focus is on live performances with her dawless setup and the release of new music. She values continuous self-development as essential for expanding her artistic opportunities.
