Josephine’s bio says she conceives that “Music is without

So accordingly to this statement Josi collected for us a
diverse and interesting bunch of tracks that smoothly cover
the Psy side of Minimal, Techno and Progressive, beefed up
as we normally do by two oldies – Yummie!!

02. Breger - Feeding A Dogma {soundcloud clip}

Psychedelic Techno - Nowadays quite a buzzword, since more and more Psy and Progressive Trance producers came up with a technoish side project. Yet the actual idea of Psychedelic Techno goes back further, and differs from the somewhat slow and clubby approach of many recent productions: Around 2000, acts like Spirallianz and Midi Miliz (today known as Extrawelt) or X-Dream merged deep and psychedelic sounds into hard, pumping Techno rhythms. Although this genre never became mainstream, it never vanished - which brings us to Alic. 
 
Since 2002, Alic keep up the original idea of Psychedelic Techno. In form of their passionate studio and live project, in form of their popular netlabel Digital Diamonds (founded in 2006) and formerly as A&Rs of Horns & Hoofs Entertainment. All these commitments strive to combine Psy-Trance and Progressive Techno in a fresh and innovative way, but without the drag of getting too clubby or too minimal.

With a long background in producing electronic music and performing as DJs, Alic are one of the most promising artists in the progressive Techno- and TechTrance-scene nowadays. Sharing the same passion for minimal techno music, Frenk and Dillon collaborated together to create De Dirigenten in 2014. The Dutch duo were known for composing deep, dark, uptempo, and groovy tracks. 

Now evolving alone, Dillon continues to develop the unique sound of De Dirigenten with the new release on Curiosity Music, 'The People' EP which includes remixes from Fred Talaa aka Neuromotor and Folic State.

PREMIERE: De Dirigenten - Midnight (Folic State Remix)

Aerodynamics, Cobalt and Wasp explore a more psychedelic side of techno keeping in mind the dynamics of how sound travels through the air as it changes form over time given its invisible nature.

It all started with us recording a few modules to sequence, then the arrangement, mixing, creating artwork and even mastering.

A completely DIY project that finally lead to this release.
