Born in Belgrade, he showed his enthusiasm towards electronic music long time ago, in 1994, with the opening of the legendary club “Industria” in Belgrade. Gathering knowledge and technique from other DJ’s from that period, he started to swim in DJ waters by the 1999. By the end of 2002, he meets DJ Choda who was at the time owner of the local record shop “Groove Inn” in Belgrade, and with him and another DJ friend, DJ Mandarina he co-founds organization GROOVE INN. Working in the record shop and mixing daily for hours on turntables, he picked up a serious mixing technique on the vinyls and learned all the possibilities of DJ mixer.
He acquired his first residentship in 2003, at a club Mamolo, and continued to be a successful resident there of Tuesday nights during 3 seasons, while the club was open. A lot of local DJ’s were a part of that Tuesday nights in Mamolo, some of them were famous, some were young aspiring DJ’s, as that was the original concept of those Tuesday nights at Mamolo - giving a break to young and undiscovered talents. He was also resident DJ in clubs such as Cvijeta, Energija and Anderground where he was also a manager for one season.
Beside playing at every important club in Serbia and region, he also played at festivals such is “EXIT” on world famous DANCE ARENA, "Sea Dance Festival", "Fresh Wave", “Ovo je moj grad”, “Beer Fest”, “SHARE”, “Love Fest”, “BLEF”... He also played on first MTV Adria Movie Awards in Belgrade in 2011.
In 2007 he was a part of “TECHNOLOGY - The Best DJ Annual Awards”, where he was selected as The Best DJ in Serbia in 2007.
He shared his place behind the decks with stars such as Martin Buttrich, Matthias Tanzmann, Davide Squillace, Oliver Huntmann, Victor Ruiz, Boris Brejcha, Oxia, D-Nox, Booka Shade, Dubfire & Sharam (Deep Dish), Anja Schneider, Rodriguez Jr., Emanuel Satie, Disclosure, Carl Craig, Green Velvet, Claude Von Stroke, Re-UP, Timid Boy, Mark Henning, Afrilounge, Silicone Soul, Terry Lee Brown Jr., The Timewriter, Eelke Kleijn, Terry Francis, Eddie “Evil” Richards, Pole Folder, Ladytron, Alex Niggemann...
By the end of 2007 he starts his own music production, and in December 2008 he released his first single "WHISTLIN' BUG" made with Audionova for label Rezonant. After that first single, along came the others like “Potent Substance”, “Donde”, Ikebana”, “Thisplay” and remixes for many artists…
His collaboration with fashion designer Ivana Pilja in 2010 resulted in making music for her first award winning collection on Belgrade Fashion Week. He continued his work with her on 2012 Belgrade Fashion Week when he made music for her new collection. In 2015 he made music for world famous designer Marko Mitanovski and his 2015 A/W collection presented at 2015 London Fashion Week.
He is also member of the DJ duo known as “SillyHeadz” when he plays back-to-back with DJ Bokee from Kinetic Vibe.
He doesn’t like to place the music he spins into genres. The root is house music with massive sound, with elements of techno, minimal and deep. In a word: fusion! He’s known for his dynamic mixing abilities and techniques, and his communication with audience during his sets.

“The most important thing for me is a feedback from my audience. I don’t like when DJ is not paying attention to the crew in the club. After all, we are here so they can have good time, and to present our music in the best way we know how. If there is a feedback, if there’s contact with the audience, the party can not be bad.”

Harnessing a distinct brand of artistry that knows no categorical bounds, the DJ, producer and record label head has cemented herself as one of the music industry’s most in-demand names at nothing short of breakneck speed. Her signature sonic approach masterfully blends genres with a visceral energy that commands attention, the ardent catalyst in her meteoric rise from Belgium’s underground to global phenomenon status.

Marco Carola is a global ambassador of techno. From Napoli in the south of Italy, Marco was instrumental in the development of the electronic scene in the early 90s, he took the flourishing techno Napolitano scene to the rest of the world. Over twenty years later and Marco is still one of the most respected artists amongst the techno scene, widely regarded as one of the key factors in driving the genre towards worldwide recognition within electronic music.
 
As a revered producer and successful label head, Marco has spearheaded imprints such as Design Music, Zenit, Question, One Thousands and Do.Mi.No whilst releasing music on a selection of the words finest labels such as Minus, Plus 8 2M and Primate Recordings. In addition to five critically acclaimed albums, including his most recent Play It Loud, Marco has also been responsible for a clutch of seminal mix compilations. In 2006, his mix for legendary London club Fabric’s series was a lesson in sleek, future-facing minimalism. That was followed up by well received compilations for Time Warp in 2009. In 2010 Cocoon label boss Sven Väth asked him to mix the Frankfurt based label’s Party Animals CD alongside Nick Curly, which took Carola's dj taste and skills to new heights.
 
Famed for his energetic and impressive three-deck style of mixing and long journey set, Marco has remained one of the most in demand DJs on the planet throughout the last two decades. Favoring mammoth eight hour plus sets, Marco is predisposed to a subtle working of the crowd that has made him a favorite among fans from Ibiza to New York, South America and beyond.

The BPM Festival, which stands for “Bartenders, Promoters, Musicians” was created in 2008 as a post-New Year’s gathering of industry professionals and has grown to a 70,000+ global gathering of DJs, producers, revelers and industry professionals; a must for any music lover with a discerning taste for quality underground dance music. Over the last decade, BPM parties were hosted both day and night at multiple venues. In 2017, The BPM Festival announced expansions with events being held in September in Portimão, Portugal and Tel Aviv, Israel. Newly announced, BPM returns for its winter edition in its new home of Tamarindo, Costa Rica from January 15-19, 2020.
