Autumns is the solo project of Christian Donaghey, From Derry, Ireland, an outlet for electronic post-punk with a lethal pulse. After a brace of rough demos without preliminary hype, the project emerged fully formed on Karl O’Connor’s (aka Regis) illustrious label Downwards back in 2014, the youngest act in a new vanguard of artists that included the likes of Tropic of Cancer, DVA DAMAS and The KVB.

Preceding releases for Clan Destine Records, iDEAL Recordings and DKA Records have seen the project engaged in a rough trade of transgressive noise, dysfunctional metal dance and DIY punk angst, yet each of these milestones has represented a different proposition. 2016’s ‘A Product of 30 Years of Violence’ saw the project moving into vast glacial spaces after propulsive post-punk discord of 2015’s ‘Das Nichts’. 2017 presented a further progression into Autumns’ journey from his post-punk beginnings to producing some of the tautest and no bullshite electronic music around with the release of his debut album ‘Suffocating Brothers’ on Clan Destine Records. Gaining radio play from selectors like Trevor Jackson, Regis, Debonair and Giant Swan.

Violet Poison is the moniker used by Francesco Baudazzi (previously known as Obtane) for Proto-EBM/Industrial/Wave productions. He runs the label "Veleno Viola", focused as well on these genres. Magdalena K. aka Motiv-a is a New York-based artist. Working in mediums of visual art, sound and live performance since 2009, she comes from a heritage of underground DIY music culture. Motiv-a is driven by the visceral and subversive esoterics of human ritualistic practices and transgressive music. Her live hardware electronics and DJ’ing range from psychedelic, dark-wave, techno, experimental, noise, punk, to industrial, dark ambient and electronic body music.

She has appeared in venues in New York such as Bossa Nova Civic Club, Trans-Pecos, Elsewhere to Ohm, Säule & Tresor in Berlin, and event series such as the VSSL party series in Los Angeles, Lost Souls Enterprises and Synthicide in NY. Her productions can be found on Lost Soul Enterprises’ 2017 ‘We Are What You Think We Are’ 3-part vinyl V/A, Jaclyn Kendall’s 2018 Palestinian benefit compilation “Never a Land without People”, and most recently the DKA Records V/A DKA Tape Programme III. Motiv-a is currently recording several solo EPs to be announced.

For our first podcast of the month, we are pleased to present Paris-based artist Notausgang and the exclusive mix he has prepared for Unmasked Discussion.
Noise and gritty sounds are the artist’s signature weapons, together with extensive knowledge and passion for electronics, EBM, industrial, punk and heavy rock.
In the last four years, he has released EPs on Tripalium Corp and Parfé Records and played all over Europe. More recently, inspired by the recent crisis and lockdown periods, he has found an outlet for his creativity in Phormix 20th release, for which he contributed with six tracks.
