Quirky and hauntingly catchy with retro pop horns, “Ghost in My House” was inspired by a friend’s haunted attic in the French Quarter, complete with ghosts playing the piano at night. The song takes a relatable spin, in which a woman is being haunted by memories of a failed relationship. As the song develops, she wonders if this “ghost” means she is losing her mind or just losing in general, a quandary often associated with hauntings (and heartbreak).
