It was in 2014 when a mutual friend introduced me to Victor Ruiz while he was staying here in Berlin. I invited Victor to my studio where we had a fantastic session, playing our music to each other, listening to stuff we like and simply talkin and connecting. Since then, we became close friends as well as starting to work together. Victor has released two outstanding EPs on Electric Ballroom by now. This summer we met again and recorded three tracks. The result is our first joint EP, of which I am very proud. (Thomas Schumacher, November 2015)

Harris Zigeridis, aka ZIGER, makes his return to Juicebox Music after his label debut earlier in 2015 via the ‘Razor’ single. Since then, the greek progressive producer has been churning out incredible remixes on Movement Recordings, PHW Elements, ICONYC and Outta Limits, all gaining a permanent place in many sets. His notable driving, ethereal style has been highly sought after and we’re glad & privileged to bring him on board to work his magic on SEQU3l’s “Still Moments In Everyday Life”. A rolling arppeggiated bassline sets the track into motion as Ziger continues to build on it with carefully crafted percussive grooves & soft atmospheric pads, eventually introducing the goosebump-worthy melody during the breakdown and carrying on forward from there.

Marco Resmann returns to Watergate after a productive stint at the Red Bull Music Studios in Cape Town with two stellar cuts featuring local heroes Deep Aztec and Black Soda. Tack on a remix from the one and only Oliver Huntemann and another revision from Resmann himself and you have the Babylon Side EP. 

Teaming up to kick things off, Resmann, Black Soda and Deep Aztec embrace the cultural sounds of Africa's organic percussion and vocal prowess to create a tour de force tune perfectly balance between flashing club lights and vast open skies. Following suit, Abadala sees Marco again with Deep Aztec for a lush ride into deep emotional spaces by applying mesmerizing syncopated rhythms and spellbinding vocals ideal for deeper or more sentimental dance floor moments. 

Up next is Techno legend Oliver Huntemann who, playing after Resmann earlier this year at the 15 years of Watergate event at Warung Beach Club in Brazil enjoyed his set and the two hit it off, so logically he was asked to lend his trademark sound for a revision of Babylon Side and he twists the original into a heavy Techno belter complete with sinister sonics and fever inducing sirens. Wrapping things up is Marco Resmann himself with his own take on Babylon Sides and delivers a wild and twisted version of gargantuan low end and psychedelic shimmers of the original vocal resulting in a killer tune with a ton of attitude.

Catalogue #21 of Berlin based and Andre Lodemann run label Best Works Records comes from Spanish producer Luis Junior, who delivers two original cuts, '2db2' and 'Ipsum', while the latter gets the remix treatment from label honcho Andre Lodemann & Fabian Dikhof and Italian in-demand-duo Stereocalypse. Enrico de Vecchi and Andrea Doria alias Stereocalypse have been responsible for some of the most tremendous club hits in the recent past. First the duo remixed 'I Don't Know' by WhoMadeWho last year, while this year 'Blue Dome Escargot' was released on Innervisions' 'Secret Weapon, Pt. 10'. Now Enrico and Andrea come up with another potential hit as their remix for Luis Junior got all the ingredients that it takes to be leave a remarkable impression on dance floors. Starting off with wobbling synth chords that accompany the listener throught the first part in various tonalities Stereocalypse then include the hunting vocal from the original, enhance it and make it sound like a regular sound-element of the track. The remix then bundles its synergies to hit dancing heads and headphone enthuasiasts with an inclusion of the slighty changed synth-chords from the original that add both to the track: pace and a  ravey touch. Latter peaks when the dry yet groovy bassline and the aforementioned synth-melodies are added some piercing synth that seem to have arrived from 'Another Earth'. With their remix for 'Ipsum' Stereocalypse remind its listeneres of the beauty of well-chosen tonalities in combination with a pure and raw bassline.

Serge Devant returns to one of his favoured label’s with his White Groove EP , delivering a pair of deep, textured tracks that’ll vitalise any rigid dancefloor. Archie Hamilton makes his Crosstown Rebels debut and supplies a punchy, tripped-out revision of lead track, White Groove .

White Groove is an absorbing mix of rumbling sub bass, soft, textured percussion, and ethereal pads. Loose percussion and a tough kick carve out the initial vibe on C onnect To Server . A hypnotising, low-riding synth is the final layer and helps generate even more groove into this peak time roller.

Monsterfox is the name of the title track and like the prey on it’s flight from the name-giving predator, the lead synth shows a small glimpse now and then until it finally breaks free when the drop kicks in and the wild hunt truly starts! Rafael Cerato is our first remixer. We were following his work for a long time and it is a big honor to have him on board for this first release. He took on Monsterfox, making it a little more straight forward and heavier. Granting it a technoid touch that suits both, the track and the label, very well.

Another Mind debuts on Mirror Records with their newest EP "A New Liar". The four-track Melodic House & Techno EP features stirring melodies, atmospheric textures and groovy vibes. The first track "A New Liar" delivers a steady buildup throughout the track. With a driving bassline and mystical sounds "A New Liar" features elements that will delight any listener. The remix by Marc DePulse delivers a more melodic twist - melancholic strings merge into playful melodies and end in a rousing musical firework sure to lift the listener onto other realms. The flipside of the EP features "Morphine", this track will have the listeners longing for more. The driving percussions, nagging pads and a groovy bassline, make it impossible to hold still and will create magical moments on the dancefloor. With the remix of "Morphine " Mirror labelhead Lycos make his first appearance on the label. He took the track onto a more straight forward path while saving its minimal sound. In 2025 we passed the 60 millions listener mark, and Sweet's little sister, Past and Future, our second channel open to all styles, passed the 20 million mark.
