How to get the most out of your new Monaberry Release

The better you understand the operation of your release, the more satisfaction it will give you. Many of the things we used to have to think about while djing are now controlled automatially but there are still some points, where a little care and understanding will yield big dividends in reliability and satisfaction.

Starting, for instance, is just a matter of turning the low pass knob and holding the filter button in the correct position to let the automatic controls operate. Sandhog and Aikon gives some advice on this. The Carpaccio EP, whether manually or automatically operated, provides the needed variation in gear ratios to enable you to take advantage of the full power and smoothness of the pa under any conditions in which you may want to party. At lower bpm, the lower frequencies allow the DJ to run faster to prevent stalling and provide more power. When playing faster, high frequencies holds dancing speed in the range for best smoothness and economy. Shifting down into lower frequencies also lets you use the mixer as a brake when descending warm ups or to slow down on slippery dance floors. Pages 29 to 30 contain instrucitons which will help you operate your release to the best advantage.

@mishellmusik is an upcoming producer from Tel Aviv. His Slope EP is a very diverse record – every track with a different feel, from positive to even more dark vibes. All of them combine the same influences such as funky vibes, trance melodies, rolling house bass lines as well as organic percussions and instruments. The track Tika was created in collaboration with his good friend Lott.
On top Spanish acid line expert @bawrut contributed a slamming remix that totally sets the dancefloor on fire!

Mexican imprint Duro have announced the seventh edition of its beloved ‘Muy Duro’ series. This time we are glad to present an acid collaboration between masters Dominik Marz and Radial Gaze. We welcome Bruce The Bat Person and Heidenreich to the label. A heavy collaboration of two in-house artists, Macaulay & Undefined Pattern. Closing the compilation are skilled Nick Hanzo teaming up with A-Tweed.

The opener is Dominik Marz & Radial Gaze’s “Trans”, an acid journey with metallic percussions, distant murmurs and edgy synthesizers. Following up is Bruce The Bat Person’s “Roboteca Salvaje”, a wild and late cut, where the tenacious drums blend with programmed melodies and synthetic voices. Heidenreich, the artist behind "Neuruppin Trance", brings to the label a spiraling and endless drop with his powerful cut. His playful percussion and delirious arpeggios will make you not want to stop moving.

Up next is Macaulay & Undefined Pattern's "Ceniza & Miel", a shattering dancefloor cut. Its rumbling bass reminds us of the roar of the old days machines, while its sweet and ruined melody wraps you in a lovable and rotten silk. Rounding up the compilation is Nick Hanzo & A-Tweed’s “Andcister”, a track with distorted bass, twisted and modulated percussions, liquid synthesizers and distant sonars.

Hard Fist 16th release is on the way and is all about fusion of man and machine, connecting traditional singing to the electronic music dance floor attitude. Signed by prolific composer Omri Smadar, the digital EP also includes remixes by French producer Yuksek and Jordanian musician Shadi Khries. 

Based in Tel Aviv, Omri Smadar’s life is all about composing and connecting, playing and performing, studying and story-telling. From deep history and complex theory to the dark art of dot joining, the academically trained composer and pianist is neck deep in all aspects of the culture and artform. He worked with Correspondant, Tel Aviv’s Blue Shadow and collaborated with well-known musicians such as Siam and Fortis, and to extensive remixes, edits and remoulds of influential Israeli music, such as debut album ‘Collage’ [Nana Disc 2020] 

Phase of Motion EP surrounds the idea of fusing organic-traditional human singing and playing with the electronic music dancefloor attitude. Omri’s work is known for interweaving organic, synthetic and analog. This EP is a perfect example, with its heady vocals and chants going hand in hand with percussion and machine sounds. 
Omri places great importance on the common experience the sharing of music creates. That’s why he produced “Phase of Motion” with some of his close friends: Nenor, Roy Shpilman, Shlomo Gronich and Yogev Haruvi.

Adama (written with Shlomo Gronich and produced with Roy Shpilman) samples the "Sheba Band" - an Israeli-Ethiopian children choir from the early 90's.

Tel Aviv super group @megaphonim are bringing their off-kilter energy to Feines Tier in form of their new „Namal Ashdod“ EP with four original tracks and hell of a @simple-symmetry remix. Even though they’re all quite unique on their own, what unites the tracks is the combination of raw beats and vocals with an oddly catchy pop approach to the writing of the music. Summer heat is here and with it the eighth installment of Duro’s international groove compilation "Muy Duro". For this volumen the Mexican record label dig music from Lithuania's Monk Ernie, a seductive collaboration between Time To Sleep & Local Suicide. The first manifestation from Israel, Ido Morali. The debut of Moisees & ZEA in the VA series, and to close the compilation, a collaboration from TAU’s duo, Dominik Marz & Radial Gaze. The opener is "Canned Shoes" by Monk Ernie, a fresh and vigorous cut with a rogue percussionsection, a big funky bass line, a melting electric guitar, wacky arpeggio synthesizers and cooling pads. It’s followed by "I Unfollow", the collaboration between the Croatian Time To Sleep and Berlin based lovely duo, Local Suicide. Seductive melodies, tight drums and phantasmagoric voices lead you through the whole track. From Israel comes Ido Morali with "Mondo3000", a pushing bass kick blended with dozed vocoders and acid sound that sweeps the reality expansion into a hypnotic experience.
Next up is "Wasen" by Moisees and ZEA, a track inspired by DMT trips and Japanese fishing boats. A Strong and mind blowing cut, oriental instruments, psychedelic synthesizers, and rumble drums drive you to the zurna's break. To close the compilation is "Error 707" by Dominik
Marz & Radial Gaze, an epic cut manufactured with powerful drums and beautiful synthesizers, an electric shocks rain.

“Take Me Down” is a hard-hitting EBM monster anticipating Djedjotronic’s forthcoming debut album. Rolling metal-made arpeggiators punctuate Douglas’ dehumanized, screaming vocal cuts. Severe surveillance warnings echo among the walls of an industrial district. Order and law nullifies the individual in a never-ending 4/4 march, in the religious veneration of the God rhythm.
