Vita V made an auspicious debut on Renaissance in 2022. Now, just as with his ‘Inspiratu EP’, he drops another stunning 4-tracker, though this time he’s brought along some added remix power!

All of the 4 original tracks on the EP carry distinct, Vita traits, being melodic with that slight, twisted edge that rides genres, alongside highly creative titling, “‘Sorioneku’ was recently discovered to be the oldest word in Basque, which is my native tongue,” he says with a smile, “it’s a nice way to kick things off because it means lucky, so hopefully it’s prophetic, both in terms of the release and year ahead!”

The EP receives wider appeal through 2 cracking remixes. Tash's Movement Limited opens the new year by welcoming Roni Iron back to the label for a new EP. Based in Athens, the Greek artist has found a comfortable home on the Movement label family. Roni's debut on the Greek imprint came in 2015 with a well-received remix of Candy Lips' by T.Pals and John Teki, before going on to contribute original productions to the label's 'Modern Filosophy' and 'Technical Progress' collections, two projects which would eventually lead to Roni's first EP release for the label in 2020 entitled 'Hidden Places'. Label offshoot, Movement Limited has also been a landing spot for Roni's otherworldly sound, with the Greek artist delivering a remix on the label's inaugural release, before going on to record two EPs 'Reborn' and 'The Mushroom Forest' across the last two calendar years. Now, as 2023 begins to take shape, Roni makes a welcome return to the label with a two-track showcase entitled 'White Walkers'.

With a transcendent flair, it is 'The Second Coming' which sets the tone for the release. Warm, voluptuous basslines lay the foundation for balmy synth phrasing and haunting overlays to work their magic. Dusty percussive arrangements maintain a buoyant cadence, while timely textural shifts continue to elevate mood leading into the break. Masterfully constructed, the interlude delights with its cross-cultural musicality and spiritual vocals, eventually giving way for a finale that is both spirited and groove-centric.

Nightcolours begin 2023 with bang courtesy of Greek producer Hacobb who makes his second appearance on the label with the Hyacinth EP.

Opening proceedings is Eos Chasma a deep and driving affair stuffed full of distorted synths, snarling bass and rattling percussion. It’s moody, mean and magnificent!

Next we have Hyacinth, this little gem is packed to the brim with smiles. The pulsing bassline, shimmering vocals and urgent drums drive this one ever onwards towards melodic goodness.

Orizondas is up next and it’s a heavy hitting monster with huge drums and the melodic line to match.
Taking on remix duties is Hungarian producer Yöurr who delivers a stunning rework stripping things back and ratcheting up the tension.

Opening the month of February, Tash's Movement Recordings welcomes Who Else and Sassa to the label for their debut EP. Hailing from Argentina, Who Else emerged from his country's electronic music landscape in 2014. Eventually finding a place in the melodic house and techno underground, the Buenos Aires resident would rise into one of the genre's trendsetters, with releases via Balance Music, Eleatics, Eklektisch and Get Physical, while earning play and support from Adriatique, Hernan Cattaneo, Hot Since 82, Solomun and Tale Of Us. Meanwhile, Italian artist Sassa has enjoyed similar success since first arriving in 2020. The Milan resident has been a recent favorite of Maceo Plex, Solomun and Tale of Us, while releases via Be Free Recordings and Lost On You sit prominently on his short but impressive discography. Now, combining their extensive forces for the first time, Who Else and Sassa debut on Movement Recordings with 'Who Are You', alongside a remix from Paul Anthonee.

EP opener 'Who Are You' finds Who Else and Sassa enlisting the vocal talents of AM I RIGHT. Fuelled by rhythm, groove and a hugely memorable vocal; its key changing, swing-heavy basslines and infectious rhythms resonate on a transcendent level. Fluid and energetic across the first movement, it's this main room momentum which provides a bridge into a well crafted break. Sitting comfortably in an emotive yet thought provoking space, vocal phrasing melts away into a calming vortex of melody and colour as the interlude evolves, eventually spearheading a thunderous drop and triumphant finale. Meanwhile, the companion piece 'Faster Ain't Faster' lands with an equally impressive display of craftsmanship, as the duo reaffirms their ability to tip a dance floor over the edge. Clever rhythmic co-actions and ethereal vocal fragments blanket pulsating grooves and euphoric synth swagger, making for a mood lifting excursion of the highest order.

Sonabit 'Photosynthesis' EP from March last year was a huge surprise success with the main track 'Sleeping Over Keyboards' staying in the Beatport top 100 tracks chart for almost 8 weeks. To kick off 2019 we, therefore, got some very talented artists on board to remix the EP. 

First up is Emi Galvan, who had a fantastic 2018 with some massive releases and support from the big progressive DJs, taking on 'Sleeping over Keyboards' turning it into a driving progressive house floor filler. New to Lowbit, FOTN delivers the second remix of 'Sleeping over Keyboards' going deeper focusing heavily on big melodies and atmosphere.

Another new name to Lowbit is In-DikA, a relatively new French producer who tackles 'Winter Disorder' creating a warm and laidback vibe focused around the main guitar melody. Wrapping things up is Bay Of Fires who turns 'Winter Disorder' into a smooth progressive house track.

In 2025 we passed the 60 millions listener mark, and Sweet's little sister, Past and Future, our second channel open to all styles, passed the 20 million mark.

With the same passion, we'll soon be celebrating 10 years of the project, and keeping our DNA.
