The result is a one-way ticket around the Dust & Blood solar system… A place where the stars throb and shine to Damon’s full-steam electroid bass on ‘Revolte’, where asteroids drift overhead to the heavenly humanised tones on Darlyn’s ‘Guarama’ and where planets turn merrily to the heady late night chug of fellow French artist MMYLO’s ‘Saturne’. A place where young Finnish artist Surrface has the duty of bringing us home on his rainbow rocket ‘U-Shield’. El dj y productor mexicano  Velkan llega a @vnnmx (sello independiente que apuesta por la música electrónica underground en México y Latinoamérica), con el EP "Rica", que se estrenará el 20 de febrero y que incluye cinco tracks, entre ellos varios remixes.

En IRLV esternamos el remix que realizó @noctlux, un talentoso productor mexicano que forma parte de sellos como Platino Records y @hedonistcollective, y y quien que ha sabido darle su toque personal y distintivo a la canción de Velkan.

NoctLux, es un artista que se caracteriza por su versatilidad y su capacidad de fusionar diferentes estilos, influencias y sonidos para crear obras únicas y originales. Su versión de Rica es una muestra de ello, ya que combina elementos del techno, el house, el electro y el synth-pop para crear una atmósfera envolvente, dinámica y bailable. NoctLux respeta el espíritu de la canción, pero le añade un ritmo más acelerado, una base más potente y unos sintetizadores acidos que le dan un aire fresco y moderno.

The captain returns to his ship with two new dancefloor weapons.
This time he's teamed up with Autralian producer Haptic for the track 'Last Drive'.  
On the remix duties, we warmly welcome to the talented Brazilian Waltervelt (Ellum).


Last Drive' is the first chapter of the story, a track that takes listeners on a psychedelic journey with Australian Haptic's trippy vocal and infectious rock rythms, creating a captivating and hypnotic break.


We continue with ‘Abre Los Ojos’, another solid and compact signature track from the French producer, with an infectious groove that gets stuck in your head, accompanied by cinematic breaks that will get crowds dancing. A perfectly executed track for your closing set.

Waltervelt's remix is an extraordinary reinterpretation, retaining the essence of the original and taking it to its darkest side.

For the 44th edition of Melómana, we are delighted to present a collaboration that already made waves earlier this year with their contribution to the “Various Artists 2024 compilation released in January. We’re talking about Nick Hanzo and Ludviq, two names that are pushing the boundaries of the underground electronic scene. Nick, founder of the influential and avant-garde label Belly Dance Service, and Ludviq, at the helm of the innovative imprint Bonkers Music, represent a convergence of unique visions within contemporary electronic music. Both stand out for their ability to curate exquisite selections of tracks and artists in their labels, as well as for their undeniable talent in the studio. It’s no surprise that renowned figures such as Damon Jee or Ivan Smagghe have already included their music in their sets.
This highly anticipated release offers us two original tracks in collaboration and a third solo track by Ludviq. Opening the EP, we find ""Raving Miles"", a hypnotic journey that unfolds with an entrancing vocal, supported by a bassline with funk nuances and a dose of psychedelia that permeates every beat. The track builds into a texturized climax, where percussive synths evoke the intensity of a shamanic ritual on the dance floor.

The second track, ""Widget Figet"", ventures into a more raw and visceral terrain. Cavernous percussion, executed with surgical precision, lays a solid foundation from the very beginning. A sensual vocal intertwines with an energetic groove, while finely programmed synths add layers of complexity and depth, creating a sonic experience that heats up any space.

Closing the EP, Ludviq delivers ""Collapsing Nature"", a solo piece that reflects his signature progressive approach. The track is a rollercoaster of styles, where minimalism, tech, and indie dance seamlessly intertwine, keeping the listener in constant anticipation.
This release not only consolidates Nick Hanzo and Ludviq's presence as creative forces in the scene but also highlights their ability to fuse styles with unparalleled fluidity. Without a doubt, this is one of the year's standout releases, destined to resonate on the most demanding dance floors.
