But no-one steals our hearts as easy as a performance by the great Patrice Bäumel. An inspiration in every single way!

After several remixes on Gun Raven, Marshall White brings his long-awaited original release on the label, entitled The Big Rip. While The Big Bang is how our universe began, The Big Rip is our ultimate fate. This grim outlook is sweetened by the Jean-Michel Jarre-esque synth work by Marshall White. As is customary for Gun Raven, each release also contains several remixes - notably, Juli Lee, the Zurich-based dynamo, puts her gentle spin on the opening track. Tiglon, from Stockholm, Sweden steps the beat up to 135 BPM for those of us who don't want to slip into the void quietly. The album is rounded out by the left field electronica, cooked up by Swim the Shine. The 4 tracks as a whole are not so much an album but an event horizon.

For this track, I used only the samples provided and my TORAIZ SP-16. With such limited resources I had to dig into some interesting functionality of this machine.
