Live recording from b2b DJ set between Prague's @ke_wu and Swine Daily founder Krištof Budke aka @vlzques. The event BLAM took place on March 15th in Ankali club, Prague.

✱ Since 2012, KEWU has been a dynamic part of Prague’s vibrant music scene, known for delivering a wild blend of fast-paced, percussive rhythms, deep basslines, and a strong influence from Hispanic dance music cultures. His mixes also seamlessly incorporate elements of Baltimore club, ballroom beats, and 4x4 rhythms.

✱ Beyond the decks, KEWU has been an advocate for alternative dance music in the Czech Republic, hosting Flám on Radio Wave to highlight emerging artists and underground beats. As a resident at ADDICT events and co-creator of BLAM!, he fosters a space that blends familiar beats with experimental sounds. Recently, KEWU expanded his sound through original releases, including a collaboration with singer and producer Terra on their ‘Sugar & Sleaze’ project.

✤ VLZQUES [Velázquez] is the stage name of DJ, music journalist, curator, and artist manager Krištof Budke, founder of the Swine Daily web-magazine (https://swinedaily.com/). From working as a rap A&R manager at Universal Music Slovakia to his dedication to underground artists from all across the globe, he is known for his wide musical scope.

✤ His music selection is typically full of experimental avant-garde club music from Latin America, alternative reggaeton, dembow, RKT, and distorted baile funk subgenres. As a journalist, VLZQUES is also continuously looking for new music trends and talented artists. From his recent six-month stay in Argentina and Brazil, he comes with fresh musical gems.
