"Journey Replan" breathes new life into Pushlock's LP from 2021, "Journey at The End of The Brain", featuring nine reinterpretations by an eclectic lineup of artists reimagining Pushlock's initial musical voyage. 
A genre-bending exploration that takes elements from the realms of drum and bass, bass music and abstract sonorities weaving them together into a mesmerizing tapestry of sound, inviting to get lost in a territory where sonic boundaries dissolve.

‘MY BROTHEL THE WIND’ IS SET FOR RELEASE ON 25TH JULY

DJ DIE SOON is the apocalyptic alter-ego Daisuke Imamura, whose performances of masked malice have been a fixture in the Berlin underground for the past decade. Announced today alongside its first single, upcoming record 'My Brothel The Wind' takes inspiration from Sun Ra at his most grotesque, conjuring a distorted phantasmagoria with an eclectic crew of compatriots like Rully Shabara, Sara Persico, and longtime collaborator Kiki Hitomi.

Out today, first single ‘Unfinished' is a pulsating chimera featuring animalistic vocals from Kiki Hitomi of Ninja Tune bass explorers King Midas Sound, with Italian MC Franco Franco’s verses snaking underneath the noisy onslaught:

"I instantly knew that the song would be the first on the album. Raw, heavy and noisy - these elements are crucial for my art and Kiki and Franco boosted them even more with their voices.” DJ DIE SOON

'My Brothel The Wind' shows DJ DIE SOON as an alchemist of distortion, transmuting the club-forward beats of his 2020 debut Kappa Slap and the seething horrorscapes of DIEMAJIN, his 2022 collaboration with Tokyo vocalist MA. Imamura’s obsession with noise stems from his upbringing in Tokyo, where he grew up hearing the deafening roar of trains every day. “The buildings were really tall, so the sounds reflected so much and it was so loud that you couldn’t even have a conversation on the phone. Hearing this noise every minute when living in this flat, it became a normal thing,” he says. While most would content themselves with avoiding loudness, DJ DIE SOON seeks to unpack its visceral potential.

While Sun Ra’s intergalactic Moog reached for the stars, DJ DIE SOON plunges into the depths of hell. Rather than a vision of the future, 'My Brothel The Wind' is a laugh-cry of despair in the face of a Hadean present. DJ DIE SOON confronts the world with a new hand-made mask, reborn in the ashes. Film director Hiroo Tanaka’s visual contributions in the album art, poster, and music video complete the album’s narrative, telling a story not of villainy but of phantom caprice in a dying world.

Galtier enters for his fifth instalment on his own label with ‘Opaque Envelopes’; an exploration of frequency and tilted sound processing across four slick, mid-tempo creations. Having leant heavily into hardware-focused productions, Galtier has refined his use of raw, one-take recordings and hand-crafted audio inflections, carving out a space dripping with feedback channels, aggressive modulation and dense, weighty sub bass, the collection makes for a set of highly functional, warehouse-ready rollers.

The EP carries itself along a subtle, evolutionary line, where Galtier hones in on transient, shifting soundscapes of rich, searing synthetics, all glued together with tight, syncopated rhythms that channel dubstep and electro. The intention is for each piece to sound alive; teeming with a life of its own, full of personality and vitality that breathes throughout. A significantly mature body of work that encapsulates the decade and a half journey into sound that he has embarked on.

Shores of Old Sentiments, a deeply personal journey through memory and time. Following his previous EP, Petrichor Memories, and his 2022 debut album, HACE, this record is both a continuation and a return. While Petrichor Memories reflects childhood moments in a city housing estate, S.O.O.S. flows into the Czech countryside.

➲ The album takes its name from SOOS, a volcanic region in western Bohemia. Once alive with bubbling streams and the sharp scent of sulfur, it now stands largely still, a fitting parallel to the shifting textures and disintegrating structures within these tracks. Flickering synths, arrhythmic percussion, and echoes of the past weave together, blurring the edges of time and place.

➲ Closing the album are two special collaborations: Baryt with Moroccan sound designer Disektor and Temporal Echoes with Egyptian/Prague-based
multidisciplinary artist Qow.

ergen101 made this project a space where artists could freely explore the intrinsic contradictions and connexions of themes like oppression & freedom, softness & harshness or trauma & resilience, through an experimental, deconstructed club (or not club) & bass aesthetic. 

It tells a story of humanity, of past experienced as present and how we can now act on it : Trigger & Response.
