✹ DJ Latinchat is a Peruvian DJ and producer currently based in Berlin. It took him 2 deep reggaeton (or cosmic dembow as he dubbed them) tracks uploaded casually online at the end of 2022 to put his name on the map and catch the attention of Latin American club music enthusiasts.

"For the first time, I chose to include a lot of my own productions and edits in an online mix, some are unreleased tracks that will come out in the following months and some are taken from recent releases such as Tagadá and compilations by Rauversion and Love in the Endz. I also included a couple of very good unreleased tracks from friends. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did when they shared them with me.”

Bara & Isa is the project of London and Vienna based producers and singer-songwriters Bara Noha and Solo Isa.

With a light touch they combine sound material from various instruments such as
gong, harp, vocals, chimes, synthesizer, voice notes, field recordings, singing bowls, glockenspiel, tuning forks, flute, bells, guitar, electric organ, organ pipes, egg slicers, VSTs, friends and family into emotive compositions that could be listened to with ears, or described as _________________________________________-.

Ever since they released their first EP „pink sphere" in 2021 they have been exploring live performance in London and Vienna (most recently also Düsseldorf, their first gig away from home) and working out the meaning of life.

Scorpio Red is pleased to announce the release of Zeynep Ağcabay’s second EP, out on the 7th June 2024.

The Turkish born, London based artist’s 4-track release ‘Memories from the Future’ re-frames memory as a non-linear plane of time: visions and sounds collected from “memories” that are yet to occur but feel already lived. An effort to merge her self-titled spiritual folk project with her former ambient pop moniker mea0u, ‘Memories From The Future’ evokes a cyclical, nostalgic and trippy dream sequence. Distorted vocals, a nod to heavy exposure to Western pop influences, meet with samples of Turkish Ney flute and percussion reminiscent of "home".

Following up from work on Björk´s 'Fossora', Icelandic trio 'sideproject' debut on SVBKVLT with their new full-length album 'sourcepond'. Taking influence from the fog-covered wetlands of their native island, sideproject transfigure influences from the low-end frequencies of grime and bass music, and reshape it into a haze of transient-smeared beats accompanied by breathy synths that grow ever wetter till they slip beneath the surface tensions of their harmonic stratum. Compared to previous output, 'sourcepond' opts for a more concise approach to their music, stacking up their influences of experimental electronic, Icelandic punk and contemporary club music, and builds a sound that oscillates between melodic hooks and experimental rhythms. Each track carves through the sensuous material, pulling the listener into the dank sourcepond as though magnetic forces were guiding a bird's beak towards misty horizons.
