Hailing from Buenos Aires, EL PLVYBXY brings Argentinian innovation and emotion to the Nostro Hood via his ‘Reflexis’ EP. Having been recorded in Villa Urquiza during a time of significant economic crisis, the release is tinged with an aura of immense sadness and hardship. Gregorio takes great inspiration from the ‘Murga’ rhythm; An essential South American protest rhythm that echoes through the streets during times of political conflict. The release follows a journey through a personal and unified crisis – rearing its head as an economical suffering, concluding as his own existential resolve.

‘Carnavalito’ carries with it an air of hope amongst its dischordant, yet enchanting melody. Featuring the vocals of Argentinian vocalist O.l.i.v.i.a, the energy is deep and powerful, which can be said for the otherworldly, mechanized artillery taking form as the drums. Altogether, the whole track feels distant from reality.
