To celebrate 20 years of building Labyrinths, we have decided to release one set from each of the last ten years. I've chosen ten timeless moments that both document the history of the event and provide a historical snapshot of underground electronic music over the past ten years.

We have chosen a broad range--from closing techno sets, to morning ambient sets, to experimental sets to close the night. Each set represents a different side of the event. Taken together, they present a portrait of a decade of music.

The Labyrinthの20周年を記念して、過去10年間を振り返り、それぞれの年からひとつのミックスをピックアップすることにしました。イベントの歴史を記録すると同時に、過去10年間のアンダーグラウンドエレクトロニックミュージックの歴史的なスナップショットを提供します。今聞いても色褪せない、タイムレスな極上のミックスをお楽しみください。

テクノのクロージングセットから、朝のアンビエントセット、そして夜を締めくくるエクスペリメンタルセットまで幅広いセレクトですが、どのセットもThe Labyrinthの欠かせない側面を表しており、ここ10年におけるエレクトロニック ミュージックの全容とも言えるでしょう。

The recording of my set from La Nature Festival, recorded 12-3PM on a glorious sunny Sunday on the 23rd of June 2024.

This was one of my favourite sets this summer, I was so honoured to be playing before the legendary DJ Nobu, and spent time preparing for this set gathering bright~dubby~daytime techno with a zippy flair and uplifting energy 🧚

The set features lots of tracks I’ve been enjoying this summer, including music by: Tsott, GiGi FM, Azu Tiwaline, Vladw, Al Wootton, Sindh, Luigi Tozzi, Konduku, Stojche, Ness, Ruman, Rene Wise, Fireground, Forest On Stasys, Kohra & Midnight Traffic +++

Here we are in April, the days endless and the nights wild under the skies, the softness of the twilight air now warming the chlorophyll-coloured leaves. What could be more ideal than this prestigious guest, Adam Pits, to inaugurate this new chapter, filled with sunshine, joy, gentleness, trance and hypnotism, where bodies and souls merge in symbiosis with their surroundings, the living, the plant world, and finally, above us, the stars to dream of.
Adam Pits is a renowned producer and DJ, based in London, the artist has toured clubs and festivals all over the world: Fabric, Watergate, Corsica Studio, Boiler Room, C12, De School, Garage Noord, Dimensions Festival...He has signed magnificent opuses on labels such as Space Lab, Constant Sound, Craigie Knowes, and has launched his label On Rotation with Lisene and Chris I'Anson since 2014! 
Welcome to this sublime set, with its spring colours, crazy transitions and magical selection. Adam Pits delivers an hour's mix of deep techno, solar acid-house, esoteric ambient, space breakbeat and vibrating trance that's sure to leave you breathless!

Next up in our mix series is Human Space Machine. Hailing from Amsterdam, the dutchman has found his way into electronic music by channeling movement into rhythmical cadences, crafting a sound that exists at the intersection of techno, house, and experimental electronic music. His productions are often trippy yet inviting, and released on respected labels like Nous’klaer Audio and De Lichting, the latter which he co-founded. 

In this mix Mike takes us on a 1,5 hour voyage through moisty atmospheres. Slick underwater grooves meets slimey deep cave techno, in a masterclass of mysterious and murky world-building and slow tension manipulation. Momentum gradually rising, via twisted acid and waterlogged minimalism.

Tales From The Loop is a new project about the world of electronic music with the intention of exploring the various genres that compose it and the various sub-genres deriving from them, through storytelling combining various forms of musical art, visual art and narrative in a long mysterious great journey.
