"FeLid is the solo project of Kazutoshi Eguchi.

Incorporating instruments such as guitars and synths, as well as sounds that exist in everyday life as materials, he combines and deconstructs them without being bound by rules, pursuing the harmony hidden in the imperfect and abstract with his unique sensibility, and continues to explore new musical expression through an experimental approach.

His performance style varies from DJ to DJ and live performance site to site, attempting to improvise in the most appropriate way for the moment.
In the midst of this experimental process, he released a 10-track, 30-minute album “IN” on his own label, C ENTR A L, in 2021, which delves deep into his own inner world.

Symbion Project interpretation & recording of Ludwig von Beethoven's 2nd movement (Allegretto), Symphony No. 7 in A Major, Opus 92.   Similar in spirit to the original recordings created for the albums "Wound Up by God or the Devil" (2007) and "Contrapasso" (2011),  only vintage and contemporary analog synthesizers were used as the instrumentation.   Inspiration for this recording comes from Wendy Carlos and Tarsem's "The Fall"

Synths used on this recording are Alesis Andromeda, Arp Odyssey model 2810, Memorymoog, and Moog modular.

An ambient documentary work that recorded the music and people of Niigata, Japan in 2020.

A compilation album created in 2020 to record the music and people of Niigata that still exist in 2020, with the theme of each "Ambient" by 10 groups of musicians living in the local city Niigata. The up-and-coming "Mevius" who publishes works on SNS, the parent-child unit "Reishu Fukushima + Satoshi Fukushima" using shakuhachi and computer, "Youki Noseyama" who boasts unrivaled metallic beauty, and The legendary existence "Tokio Hasegawa" who has been active in the Taj Mahal Travelers in the past. Even in the same Niigata, a wide variety of music based on the Niigata environment is gathered here on the premise of different ages, careers, and activity areas. Everything that makes up the work, including the cover photo, was created by the people of Niigata, and is truly an "ALL CREATED IN NIIGATA" piece.

For the last 25 years, Symbion project has been electronic music endeavor of Kasson Crooker. During that time, he founded the synthpop band Freezepop, was a member of the electronic rock trio Splashdown, wrote a bunch of music for videogames (FreQuency, Amplitude, Rockband, DDR). The sound of Symbion Project is dark and haunting downtempo and features a large collection of vintage analog synthesizers. Symbion Project is very inspired by the artists Massive Attack, Depeche Mode, Wendy Carlos, Vangelis, Air, and Erik Satie.

The first full length Symbion Project cd "Red" came out in 1997 followed by "Immortal Game" with artwork by Stoltze Design. Not being one to be pinned down stylistically, Symbion Project has continued to embed differing styles of electronic music into its overall aesthetic. Early songs incorporated elements of instrumental techno & trance, along with elements of drum & bass. Songs on "Immortal Game" slowed dramatically into hypnotic down-tempo, reminiscent of Boards of Canada & DJ Shadow, with haunting synths & Vangelis-esque ambient soundscapes. "Immortal Game" also features guest vocalists Melissa R Kaplan of Splashdown/Universal Hall Pass & Leah Callahan, alongside the instrumentals. "Wound Up by God or the Devil," was released in early 2007 and was the first foray into a different sound for the band. Inspired by the baroque qualities of vintage synth artist Wendy Carlos (A Clockwork Orange, Tron) and Vangelis (Bladerunner), the Wound Up album became the first in a trilogy of instrumental analog synthesizer releases.

2009 saw the release of the 4th studio album "Misery in Soliloquy" which was released on cd in stereo and on dvd in a quad 4channel surround sound format. This album returned to the downtempo sounds of Immortal Game and heavily featured Melissa R Kaplan and Kasson on vocals. A followup version cd called "Misery in Soliloquy [Exposed]" features the entire album mixed without vocals or drums, allowing the synths, strings, and ambient fx to shine. 2011 saw the release of "Contrapasso" which is a followup to the Wound Up album. This album features a cover of the Dead Can Dance song "Enigma of the Absolute." 

2016 saw the release of Arcadian featuring guest vocalists Jenni Potts, Briana Marela, Markus Junnikkala, and Melissa R Kaplan.

The latest from Symbion Project is "Saturnine" featuring guest vocalist Mars Nord (aka Markus Junnikkala).

Symbion Project was featured in the sony ps2 videogames freQuency & sequel amplitude where you can interact, construct, & remix Symbion Project songs like "funky dope maneuver" & "freQout" & "synthesized."  k*ss*n wrote additional songs for the games under the pseudonyms komputer kontroller, dj hmx, & cosmonaut zero. Freezepop (k*ss*n's other band has contributed music to games like ddr, guitar hero 1&2, Phase for the ipod, and Rockband1&2. symbion project has also been heavily involved in remixes over the last few years, for bands such as Depeche Mode, Lamb, Delerium, Information Society, Universal Hall Pass, and Kodomo.
