Ambient album Long Whale Song by musician SymphoCat was released on the Simphonic Silence Inside and Kurate Music labels. The album includes 10 songs with a total duration of more than 2 hours. 

"...Long, far, drawn-out songs of whales, all these epithets are well applicable for this release in which I wanted to reveal the sensual, submerged and vulnerable side of perception of the world. Whales for me as a prototype of inner loneliness, willpower, desire to learn and find their way in the ocean of life, to swim to the beckoning lighthouses and new shores. Of course I would like to note the social significance of the album, as these compositions drawing attention to the pollution of the oceans. Once again to remind of violation of an eco-system of a planet, invasion of a civilization and harmful influence on the natural process. It is also worth adding that the compositions are made in the style of ambient 80s, the times when the sea was plowed by the researcher Jacques-Yves Cousteau on the ship Calypso. And also created musicians Wendy Carlos and Holger Czukay, to whose creativity I also want to dedicate this album...".

"...Длинные, дальние, протяжные песни китов, все эти эпитеты хорошо применимы для этого релиза, в котором хотел раскрыть чувственную, погруженную и ранимую сторону восприятия мира. Киты для меня выступают словно прообраз внутреннего одиночества, силы воли, стремления познавать и находить свой путь в океане жизни, плыть к манящим маякам и новым берегам. Конечно я бы хотел отметить и социальную значимость альбома, так как этими композициями хотел бы обратить внимание на загрязнение мирового океана. Еще раз напомнить о нарушениях эко-системы планеты, вторжения цивилизации и пагубного влияния на естественную природу. Так же стоит добавить, что композиции выполнены в стилистике эмбиента 80х, времен когда морские просторы бороздил исследователь Жак-Ив Кусто (Jacques-Yves Cousteau) на корабле Калипсо, творили музыканты Венди Карлос (Wendy Carlos) и Хольгер Шукай (Holger Czukay), творчеству которых так же хотел бы посвятить этот альбом..."

Somewhere I Forgot Myself

SymphoCat is a musical project of performer and composer who works at the intersection of electronic music, modern classical music and minimalism. His recordings combine ambient, field recordings, experimental electronics, and even elements of dance music. SymphoCat works with the properties of harmonies and timbres of sound, feeling the connection of vibrations of subtle matters, the influence of creativity on the feeling of the inner and outer world.

SymphoCat has its own label "Simphonic Silence Inside", which has been releasing diverse electronics since 2007. Performances of this project took place in various locations from events in parks, museums and philharmonic halls to large-scale underground electronic music festivals. Ilia has participated in many audiovisual projects, including collaborations with live orchestras and choirs, various art groups, dancers, and video artists.

The music of SymphoCat is imbued with a sensitive attention to the process and a special understanding of the surrounding spaces. His work reflects images of nature, technological environments, as well as sacred and meditative practices. Ilia draws inspiration from both the latest experimental research and the legacy of the avant-garde and classical composers of the past — in his works you can find references to such authors as Brian Eno, Wendy Carlos, Holger Czukay and many others.
