From my love of early 80's Electro through the House, Acid and Rave era, i've always been an active member of the scene - whether it be on the dancefloor or in the guise of D.J or musician / producer. I secured my first release for Roll The Drums Recordings in 2013 & now have numerous releases on labels such as Liquid V / Influenza Media / Soul Deep /  Four Corners / Smooth N Groove / Default Recordings / Complex Records / Boey Audio / Locked Up Music / Liquid Flavours / Test Press Audio /  Deconstructed / DNBB / Liquid Boppers / Bay 6 Recordings / Tesseract / Anticlockwise Music, plus regular plays on BBC radio & Bassdrive, Roughtempo & Pyro Radio amongst others. I also record my monthly Drumculture podcast which features a blend of grass roots and established artists, which is hosted hearthis.com.

Within the numerous realms of electronic dance music, international collaboration and alignment has become more and more important and is something that runs through the heart of Raw Tactics Records. The inception of the label in fact originally came from the founding sounds of the Brighton-based Tigs building a self releasing platform, that through a combination of emigrating to Melbourne, Australia and a high demand from surrounding artists has now developed into one of the most exciting imprints out there. 

There is a real vibrancy about the label’s approach, firstly within their now extensive roster, which features the likes of SBK, Goldfinger (Virus Syndicate), Dubzta, Fork & Knife, Zemon, Angus Green and many more very popular names. That vibrancy also finds itself weaving its way into every single release, with the catalogue being carefully curated with a need for individuality and originality, a pair of traits that are easy to forget as labels start to systemize and grow. 

The imprint's unique blend of underground UK genres, including garage, grime and bass, has also helped establish the platform as one of the most forward thinking projects to emerge in a hot minute. Since their inception in 2016, the pace is yet to stop quickening and the platform continues to reign in support and appreciation from across the numerous scenes their sounds emulate from, making the future more exciting than ever before.
