Synchronometry is a producer, DJ, and software developer from the LA area with a long history in the Southern California dance music scene. In the studio his output is multifaceted; in terms of music production he has releases on record labels like Shadowulf, and Activated Recordings, but more interestingly he is a software engineeer for the popular digital instrument developer Output. His incredible technical knowledge and audio prowess shows in his original music as well as behind the decks where you will most often find him at the legendary Moontribe Collective parties.

This mix was recorded at Moontribe’s 26 year anniversary gathering. This circumstances around this recording are rather unique, as during the days leading up to this event my dog of 10+ years passed away while on a road trip with myself, my wife and my daughter, as we were on our way to this event. The week leading up to this event was also my wife and I's first year wedding anniversary, father’s day, and also my birthday. This three hour set was originally intended as a birthday celebration, but on a personal level, this set was more of a eulogy to my dog Lilo. She was the really the best dog I could ever ask for, and our family will forever miss her. 

Adopt a dog. Save a life.

Synchronometry’s existence in the SoCal underground has brought driving psychedelic music to countless dancefloors across Southern California, the US and internationally for many years. As a classically trained musician and pro audio software developer, Bruce has been deeply involved with creating psychedelic music and building the tools used to make it for many years. Bruce’s Synchronometry project blends the energy and atmosphere of psychedelic trance with the unrelenting drum machines of techno and so much more. Whether in the moonlit desert or in a downtown warehouse, Synchronometry moves any dancefloor he touches.
