The bass and drums are based on a paradiddle (RLRR LRLL drum rudiment). I played the figure on pads, then moved the notes around various percussion instruments. The drums are mostly "linear", meaning no two notes hit at the same time. It kinda gives it a "Flim" feel. (although it sounds nothing like "Flim")

Trajectory

As I've been working on remixing and remastering the first Zenlike Creature album, I decided to revisit the second album, too. Oddly, the second album was actually written before the first (during Covid lockdown) and I'd always had plans for it to be recorded in a studio using fellow musician friends to record various parts. Sadly, this never came to pass and time has moved on.

So, here I am, tidying up the mixes, a bit of instrument replacement here and there, and remastering. Hope you enjoy!
