"Flying Rivers"
The Amazon rainforest is sweating ... the mist is rising and flying rivers are emerging to flirt with the canopy and release huge amounts of water. Their annual flow exceeds that of the Amazon river…
By composing this piece for piano, I tried to evoke the formation and the elevation of these mists saturated with blue gold, the aerial path of these flying rivers until their dissolution on the green carpet ...

La forêt amazonienne transpire… la brume monte et des rivières volantes se dessinent pour venir flirter avec la canopée et lâcher d’énormes quantités d’eau. Leur débit annuel dépasse celui du fleuve Amazone… 
En composant cette pièce pour piano, j’ai tenté d’évoquer la formation et l’élévation de ces brumes gorgées d’or bleu, le cheminement aérien de ces rivières volantes jusqu’à leur dissolution sur le tapis verdoyant…

Often when I sit at my piano I find some sheet music my kids have left there earlier that day. Sometimes I take the opportunity and improvise on the chords or melody I see in front of me. This is what happened here. You might recognize the piece at the end ;-)

“Ochtendgloren” is a great Dutch word meaning “Dawn”. But in a more poetic sense, it has a sense of optimism, it holds a promise of a beautiful day to come. The morning dawns on the horizon...
The track travels through several different fields and textures, traveling acoustically through many different styles, I feel it’s hard to categorize where this would land in an overall description, but I guess World fusion comes closest. But it contains elements of classical, Jazz, flamenco, Latin, pop, rock, blues.

I play my Flamenco Negro guitar again in a setting of a guitar trio. In form it can be considered as a continuation of my Short Tales series. The lead guitar has long sections that are improvised over the bed of the two accompanying guitars.

War broke our lives to BEFORE and AFTER its start... Russian aggression has no boundaries, it's Universal. Our house happened to be on the war front line so our family had to leave behind our home and escape just to save our lives. We had spent 8 days in hell being under Russian missiles and bombs...
 In my "previous" life I used to create music and still have got some unreleased works.
 All the tracks are played, recorded and mixed on Yamaha Clavinova CVP505 without using any software.
Now I have no piano, no more chance to record music. The only sense of life is to survive. If you're Russian please don't follow me. We have nothing in common anymore. We'll never forgive you this disgusting bloody war against Ukrainian children. Each of you is GUILTY.
