During the Covid pandemic, which claimed the lives of so many known and unknown people, I composed this music on the 80th Memorial Day in 2021 in remembrance of the victims of the horrific mass murder at Babyn Yar. One of the many grave German atrocities that must never be forgotten. 
I expressed my grief through the music. The musical motifs of the flute and the cello symbolize the simple, painful question "Wa-rum?", ‘Why?’ in a short and simple tonal composition.

War broke our lives to BEFORE and AFTER its start... Russian aggression has no boundaries, it's Universal. Our house happened to be on the war front line so our family had to leave behind our home and escape just to save our lives. We had spent 8 days in hell being under Russian missiles and bombs...
 In my "previous" life I used to create music and still have got some unreleased works.
 All the tracks are played, recorded and mixed on Yamaha Clavinova CVP505 without using any software.
Now I have no piano, no more chance to record music. The only sense of life is to survive. If you're Russian please don't follow me. We have nothing in common anymore. We'll never forgive you this disgusting bloody war against Ukrainian children. Each of you is GUILTY.
