Through their extensive work in the Los Angeles underground techno scene, 6AM Group and Synthetik Minds have cemented themselves as two of the most respected techno brands on the global scale. By featuring a big selection of the world’s most sought-after techno artists alongside a roster of impressively talented home-grown acts, their WORK warehouse event series has become a meeting point for techno aficionados near and far. Further, both are partners at COMPOUND and RE/FORM, two of the West Coast’s largest techno event concepts, further underscoring their pivotal role in the current techno scene of North America.

Jakarta-based Ecilo is a techno producer and DJ who has gained vast experience since he began his work in the techno space back in 2007. On top of an extensive touring schedule, Ecilo has received the ultimate nod of approval from none other than Jeff Mills, whose label Axis was the home of his 2021 Uncovert album. Other notable Ecilo releases can be found on Developer’s Olympian, Edit Select’s eponymous imprint, Alan Fitzpatrick’s We Are The Brave, Emmanuel’s A R T S, Planet Rhythm, and more.

With a cumulative near-four-decade experience in the electronic music industry, Synthetik Sounds aims to be a home for techno artists whose sound remains true to the ethos of underground techno.

The imprint will focus on building bridges between North America, Europe, Asia, and beyond, acting as a platform for artists whose output leans both on deep, hypnotic techno as well as darker, and harder soundscapes of the genre.

The first release is an EP titled Protech The Skyline and is scheduled for April 22nd release, featuring five original tracks from Ecilo that firmly underscore Synthetik Sounds’ vision for the label: quality dance-floor focused techno fitting for the dark warehouse spaces 6AM and Synthetik Minds curate.

After his highly successful first release on Out of Place named “Amelia”, back in 2020, he is delivering again massive techno EP “The Fort”.This time he is presenting4 highly rhythmic cuts with late 90’s Napoli techno feel.

SERA J is a techno music producer and dj from Greece. He was born and raised in Thessaloniki, while he produce music since 2008. Influenced by his favorite artist Jeff Mills his style can be typed as a combination of techno with catchy melodies, acid sounds, powerful baselines and Detroit details.
With strong and very successful releases, on Out of Place, Adroit, Planet Rhythm he made a bigger step to the music scene while his music has gained massive and diverse support, from artists like Amelie Lens, Adam Beyer, Ellen Alien, Insolate, Alien Rain, just to name a few, charting and playing his tracks very often.

Long time Soma affiliate Arnaud Le Texier returns to Soma with his latest bold and electrifying release, the Elements EP. The London based DJ/producer and Children Of Tomorrow label owner has spent years cultivating his unique, trippy and hypnotic sound and this release has him once again displaying his exceptional production skills.

Title track Elements opens with a deep and hypnotic sensibility. Spacious pads glides across a driving beat as more emotive elects drive in gently making this a perfect track to build up the tension with. Polarisation heads down a darker route with more twisted and modulating sequences that pulse across driving percussion. Assign drops a more jacked up beat while remaining on point and true to Le Texier’s hypnotic style. Be Gentle keeps up the more aggressive sound from Arnaud as sub heavy beats drive a rattling percussive backbone and alarms like synths.

After being a techno institution in Germany for 10 years now, the renowned Lehmann Club finally
starts his own label called “Lehmann Musik“. The label aswell as the Stuttgart based club represents a
wide range of techno music. The philosophy of Lehmann Musik is to show a cross section of the
Lehmann agency artists plus of course guests and friends of the club.
Dark days actually for our scene and culture. We are guessing everybody is going through a lot of
struggles and mixed emotions at the moment. As for the most in our industry and scene - we as
Lehmann Club - looking into an uncertain future. Depending on how long this crisis will last, we not
really know how it will go on afterwards. So we called some of our dearest „old“ and „new“ friends,
past guests and our residents to create these „Save our HOME“ compilation. Were very thankful for
the support and appreciate this a lot.
The 005 reflects again several vibes and moods of the current techno zeitgeist – plus some
excursions through the fields of non typical 4-to-the-floor club sound.
