The "Visit SynthR.net" at 1:27 that drowns out the music a bit kind of runs this otherwise beautiful track for me. Could you remove that somehow and just post a link to your website in your profile description?

Short percussion-driven piece inspired by Dune and... Crash Bandicoot. It actually didn't start off with that as the intent, but we wanted to do a jungle-themed track and had just been debating which version of the Crash boulder music sounded better (after listening to @JoshMancell's pre-console stuff). The Dune part just snuck in there after playing with the percussion and low/deep choirs.  As a bonus, it loops like level music.

Japanese flute and koto music inspired by the hichiriki in Silent Hill f's trailer! pftq actually has a real hichiriki he plays, so we weren't going to let that one go! We ended up pulling elements from all the collab tracks we've been making this year - Koto Breaker, Anime Medley, Guitar Chronicle, etc with this one taking a much more eastern/new-age/Uttara-Kuru feel than any we've done so far.

Koto Mangetsu (Waterflame vs pftq)

Short orchestral/acoustic track by Waterflame and pftq while experimenting to get closer to a cinematic sound. First half mainly by Waterflame and second half mainly by pftq, along with the string/choir chordwork in general. It ended up sounding a bit like music you'd hear at a fair or amusement park. The Universe. Its unexplainable beauty is something we barely understand, yet our very existence and genetic makeup are intrinsically tied to the eons-old stars we look to each night. Nothing is more marvelous, mysterious and infinite. Nothing could ever capture an imagination quite like spacetime and the mere moments we spend in it.

I selfishly wrote 'Starbound' for myself, truth be told. It's a culmination of my experience as an EDM producer and the wonderment that I feel whenever I dream of outer space and its possibilities. What greater adventure is there if not to explore beyond our comparatively small world? We can't even begin to imagine what's out there, but our natural thirst for understanding leads us to scientific discoveries on a daily basis. To me, these discoveries are amazing. 'Starbound' is my attempt at capturing the admiration I have for the one thing greater than any of us, the Cosmos.
