Toro, es uno de los nuevos y jóvenes nombres de esta nueva escena madrileña, perteneciente a unos de los colectivos con mayor proyección del momento y que pudimos contar con el en nuestro ultimo evento. Una muestra perfecta de su buen gusto a la hora de seleccionar tracks con los que contar una bonita historia de principio a fin es la sesión con la que nos deleitó ese día. Y que mejor manera que compartirla con vosotros.

Caracterizado por un sonido enérgico y difícil de encasillar, utiliza la sinergia de estilos como arma principal para desbaratar la pista. Guiños al electro y los ritmos rotos frecuentemente acompañan y dan vitalidad a un techno animoso y renovador que no te dejará indiferente.

Toro is one of the new and young names of this new Madrid scene, belonging to one of the groups with the greatest projection of the moment and we were able to count on him at our last event. La pasión por la música en todo su concepto y extensión, su experiencia desde últimos de los 80, con el acid house en clubes como XKandalo, primeros de los 90, EBM y los inicios del Techno Industrial, fueron los sonidos metálicos, de esa época maravillosa e idílica, en el declive ya, de la movida madrileña y en los primeros clubs de Madrid como Eklosion, New World, Attica, SPECKA, Voltereta, TNT, La Industria, Saratoga, Agora, unido a los inicios del Trance Progresivo, a mediados de los 90, clubs como The Ömen, Soma, han ido marcando su gusto musical muy elaborado, dejando su estilo característico. Siempre al lado del techno más oscuro el cual marca su tendencia, es el resultado de más de 25 años de pasión por el Techno.

Born and raise in Buenos Aires

Working hard from seven to seven, Monday to Monday, fervently posed in his black chair made of metal, Juan Pablo is a man indisputably dedicated. To whom you should ask? To a woman.

She is black. Made of some sort of chloride. Her inconspicuous function is to copy a sound’s waveform. But if you spin her in a very conspicuous motion, with a needle made of diamonds cutting into her; well let’s just say you hear all sorts of things. With an easy smile, he touches each key on his keyboard and says, ‘one day, she will be mine´. This, with the name of his record label written on her. Her name is Vinyl, polyvinyl chloride to be politically correct.

One night in the year of 1995 XHEI was struck by cupid. He saw Vinyl spiraling away her tunes all by herself and so he gingerly walked to her. He let out a slow grasp, and the rest is history. He began to turn her with an agony of a pleasure he himself couldn’t stagger away from, and the disdainful control of his hands was the kind of ecstasy she craved for. He stayed with her the whole night. That same night he went home and with instant gratification he said into a low whisper, I am a Disco Junky.

After 18 years in the music scene, he gained knowledge and experience of the local styles and the evolution of the music electronica, in that he created his own outstanding mixes and tracks using fancy minismalistic and original sounds, all thanks to his love forVinyl.

Now in 2014, XHEI continues to develop his craze for old school music and the underground culture. He has formed his own label, 
Crow Recordings, to keep cultivating his place in music world; however, his main purpose is to stop his love from ebbing into a vast sea of forgotten memories. kolpos has the insatiable desire to continue what he has learned, which goes hand in hand with his truest aspiration,Vinyl.

Every person wishes to be eternal, but yet we die at a slow pace. In any given moment some part of us dies, constantly rearranging, reinventing, and reconstructing; and we call it progress. What is music played in Vinyl which one has never felt or heard? That is why one can remember Vinyl forever, and kolpos is the man to keep it that way.

Dj y productor nacido en Madrid, afincado en Alicante, melomano desde muy joven, con amplio espectro de gusto musical, escuchando desde musica clasica, pasando por el R&B, Blues, Rock melodico, y musica de los 70 en adelante, y experimentando con todos los generos de electronica.

Transgresor a nivel sonoro, con una transición de sonido muy personal, remixando el sonido en mis sets,  con diferentes secciones de tracks, samples y loops, utilizando gran parte de los estilos de electronica.

Colabore varios años con alguna emisora de radio de electrónica española como RTV TARIFA, Wind Groove Radio Show, durante 2 ediciones, entre otras.
Formando parte de la selección de djs del Podcast de Chus S.O.S Delicatessen Radio Podcast, como artista invitado n. 47.

Mis sesiones se definen por ser inmersivas, hipnóticas y con mucho ritmo y mucho cambio de beat.

Los estilos con los que suelo hacer mis sets, Deep House, Organic House, Downtempo, House,  Progressive House, Tech House, Techno, Indie Dance e Hipnotic Raw, para algunos sets concretos.

Dj and producer born in Madrid, based in Alicante, music lover from a very young age. Transgressor at the sound level, using a large part of the styles of electronica. Forged in techno rooms in Alicante among others. Collaborating for several years with some Spanish electronic radio station such as RTV TARIFA, among others, and being part of the selection of djs of the Delicatessen Radio Poscast Group. His sessions are defined by being immersive, hypnotic and with a lot of rhythm.

Styles I feel comfortable with: Deep House, Organic House, Downtempo, House, Progressive House, Tech House, Techno, Hypnotic Raw.
