Over the last few months we’ve been working on a project that aims to raise awareness of an issue that keeps losing public awareness. In the hope of finding safety and protection in Europe and a fair asylum procedure, people are forced to cross the Mediterranean Sea in unseaworthy boats. Not only are state authorities and the European Union refusing to provide humanitarian aid, they are criminalizing civil sea rescue.
Because of this ongoing situation, we have started another fundraising campaign in order to make a small contribution to the essential work of Sea-Watch e.V. Their main goal is to try to save as many people as possible from drowning in the Mediterranean Sea. Additionally, they are committed to educating people about human rights violations at the European borders, for example with their podcast “Grenzerfahrung”.
We collected a variety of sounds by ten beloved artists to present our very first Various Artist EP: “Passages”.
All the collected proceeds will go straight to seawatchcrew .

RedBox is the second record in the colored BOX series by Elad Magdasi.

This release is red by all means, with a combination of dark synths and playful notes, Elad mixes his favorite styles while keeping the mood tooly and dancefloor oriented.

All the tracks are named by their position on the record, similar to the oldskool way, focusing on the music alone.
All RedBox tracks were produced at the same time, on the same wave of inspiration, they compliment each other though being completely different.

For episode 32 we have Robert Lysholdt or better known as DJ Farkas’  (resident and co-founder of Konstant) - DJ journey kicked off just last year in April, and it’s been a wild ride ever since.
Specializing in a no-niche style and bringing an experimental vibe to the dance floor. Rooted in melodic techno and progressive house Farkas’ nowadays plays a blend of trance, techno, house often implementing elements or tracks from other genres such as UK Garage, drum n bass, dub and tribal aspects into his mixes.

Q: What made you start DJing? 
A: My close friend and co-founder of Konstant, Gabriel, put me on the lineup for our debut party and taught me for a week beforehand and ever since I’ve been hooked.

Malmö Techno Tales Episode 32 - DJ Farkas

Oscillating between hypnotic and dissonant sounds, Buds Buzzy’s identity often manifests itself through broken kicks and unstructured tracks. Always seeking to explore the countless variations of musical styles, she ultimately finds her anchorage in hypnotic and experimental sounds, sometimes flirting with cinematic and trance.

As an emerging artist in French-speaking Switzerland, Buds Buzzy founded Mechanic Fluids, a concept of sexpositive and queer-friendly events. In parallel, she developed her musical skills in various clubs in Switzerland, sharing the stage with renowned artists such as Lars Huismann, Spekki Webbu, The Chronics, Pelin Vedis, and many others.

Always on the lookout for new challenges, she is trying her hand at production and hopes one day to be able to release her own tracks.
