Fresh from self releasing his lo-fi mixtape "CHAMPAGNE", ZEBRA KATZ serves you his debut release, Ima Read feat. Njena Reddd Foxxx on Mad Decent's Jeffree's Imprint. Pulling from a multimedia /performance art background, Zebra Katz brings a slo-mo dark delivery to his rhymes set over a the minimal unencumbered  beat on "Ima Read".But what does "Ima Read" even mean? Simply put, "reading" is an old voguing term describing someone verbally insulting an opponent about something not so apparent to the average viewer. A good reader could tear you apart with one simply sentence.  We were very luck to have such a varied selection remixes from the likes of  J-Wow of Buraka Som Sistema, MIkeQ and B.Ames, Slick Shoota and Dj Sliink. The attention the Amsterdam scene currently enjoys is, in no small part, down to the tireless work of Sandrien. She’s been there since the nineties, with residences at Trouw and now De School, close ties to Rush Hour and also through her own parties, which have been bringing the likes of DJ Nobu and Blawan to the city for years. Her uncompromising techno style has taken her around the world and to labels like Ben Sims’ Theory, amongst others. In short, she is a living local legend.

Sandrien takes a long view on this mix, starting with an escapist ambient selection that gets your attention. It transports you to a different world before the DJ puts her foot down and brings the grooves. Things remain decidedly cinematic and intergalactic over the course of the next hour, with various shades of deep techno eventually ending up in a place of ambient beauty not far from where you started. It’s a rounded mix that begs to be played over and over.

Elad Magdasi has long been entrenched in the rave scene, first and foremost, as a dancer.
It is precisely this edge which can be felt in the emotional fabric he weaves into his productions.

It is his love for raving that keeps his mojo running whilst bringing inspiration to his life.

After moving from Tel Aviv to Berlin in 2013,
Elad evolved and ended up founding his own label - Front Left Records.
The label is a collective of friends who dance together and celebrate techno weekly.
All the releases come from artists who share the front left corner of the dance floor.

Diversity is the key in Elad’s sets, keeping the old and the new combined and making sure you hear some synthesizers.
