Keex is a Berlin-based DJ and co-founder of xcuse:u collective. Inspired by genre-fluid artists like Avalon Emerson and Octo Octa and grounded in her love for house music, Keex’ musical works drifts between deep bass lines, crisp percussion, and dreamy synth lines. Whether it’s the raw energy of breakbeat, the warmth of Latin grooves, the dubby pull of low frequencies, or the euphoria of a vocal hook, she is drawn to sounds that tickle both the head and the heart. Right now, Keex is searching for that special sweet spot - with a pleasantly low-profile groove, bass-driven warmth, and unexpected turns along the way.

One half of the mind behind our festival’s curation, Kasper (@kaspermarott) delivered on a signature mix of ethereal, deep, and progressive techno to swirl under the morning sun. Rolling rhythmically for the whole 3 hours and splashing moments of ecstatic humanism throughout, this is Vessel in perhaps its truest form; sunrise, fog, and a collective, concrete-shaking movement.

Track Highlight:
I love all the tracks on this mix, but I’m choosing “Relax A Little” by Code Talkers (Chris Fortier 40oz Remix) because she was a little bitch to mix—but very, very worth it. There are these unexpected spooky chime stabs with gorgeous delay that completely change the tone of the track. Plus, there’s a mischievous vocal element—I imagine the character behind it as the sonic equivalent of Aubrey Plaza giving side-eye.
