We keep on flying over Italy getting back in Naples (South Italy)🌶️ 
This time we want to spotlight another local legend, Frequency Alchemist, a well know hero of Neapolitan downtempo scene. Last summer we have spend some days with him and his "clan" in Naples, having the opportunity to enjoy his kindness, his way to take care of people and his big heart for modern tribal & shamanic music cultures! Owner of Shanti, an amazing Art and music Bar located in hearth of historic center of Naples, resident Dj and organizer at Umoya Experience, Gaetano is sharing with us his recorded set during last Gitana party, another amazing event based in this magic land!

InVolo 010 | Frequency Alchemists | Gitana

It was so fun to be a part of a Beate Uwe Barfuß line-up once again! I distinctly remember that in the weeks leading up to it I felt like I really needed to play some sweet tunes in a proper sound system again to release some energy and have a proper dance that leaves me satisfied, so I was actually planning on playing pure dirty dark downtempo bangers that would have me and the fellow dancers stampeding the ground towards the same groove. 

However it was such a last minute booking, i'm so thankful that I was booked to play so spontaneously! There was only one last slot available for me to play at for a Beate Barfuß Sunday event before they closed for the summer brake, which was the opening slot. So when it came to preparing my playlist for my set I realised it doesn't make sense to be opening the club up with loud in your face music, whilst the whole bar staff is also just getting into the vibe of their shift. Which is why i decided to start off smooth and soft so that I could catch the few people already at the venue and the staff together, and for us to be in sync for the remainder of the night. 

I am so happy I did that, as i found it heartwarming and hilarious when at the start of my set the club was fairly empty but the energy was still vibrant! The staff was enjoying the dreamy floaty start of my set so much to the point where even though only few people were there, they FILLED the dance floor with more smoke than I have personally ever experienced in there!

The label's second release is a mini-album by a talented musician and DJ from Odesa (Ukraine) – Itwo5. The album consists of 3 original tracks, and in addition to them 4 rather contrasting remixes from our great and very famous friends: Frolov (Ukraine), Colossio (Mexico), ID_UA (Ukraine) and Leonor (Mexico).

A few words from the author himself: 

"Wilds EP is a story about exploring new places and getting new experiences.
About how difficult it may seem to become a part of another world that suddenly opens up for you and is ready to share the most intimate. This is my rhythm, this is how I got into slow music. This is a jungle with its own rules and "tribes" that do not like strangers. As a result, this place and people share all their knowledge with you, show their different sides and invite you to become a part of it".

Moon Release #96 [27.02.2021]

This February's Full Moon is brought to you by @andiandean.

Andi.Andean is a sonic entity created by the percussionist, producer, dj and human lover of nature Andres Aravena, born in Santiago, Chile. His journey in music began around the age of 14 exploring African rhythms while playing the drums in the hidden forests of the city at the same time that he became interested in electronic music and reggae. 

All this accompanied by a great interest in nature and an endless number of experiences in the Andes mountains that then led him to travel through South America exploring its sounds, humanities, ecosystems and settle down to live surrounded by volcanoes, lakes and nature in the South of Chile, spending time into his studio and giving birth to the “Andi.Andean” project.

He currently lives in Berlin where he continues the eternal exploration of rhythms and sounds.

Taking influences from his environments and his deep love for a wide range of music, the trained producer branched out into various genres, taking the essence of what he felt resonated most with him in that given genre and re-applying it into a different context and character. He created two different projects mainly infused by Deep / Groovy / Bouncy sounds.

SYNESTHES!A -  traveling through the faster moving realms of dance music. 

Synesthesia is a neurological condition in which information meant to stimulate one of your senses stimulates several of your senses. Synesthesia comes from the Greek words: "Synth" (meaning together) and "Ethesia" (meaning perception). 

Numeraki - venturing in the slower paced landscapes / beats.

"Nu" (phonetic pronounciation for new) and "Meraki" which is a modern Greek word, derived from the Turkish “Merak” (to do something with soul, creativity, or love; to put something of yourself into your work). 

The more freedom he is given to experiment and try out new things, the happier he is, forging together a mix of sounds which will surprise your senses and make you perceive music in a whole new light.
