Like all her other mixes she pulled it off again to create an unique story for us. It's soft yet solid. It's deep yet calm. It's atmospheric & feminine. It's Jola Luz!

We feel it's important that women are more seen in the music scene. Let's make the music world a more balanced place for all genders and people! let's celebrate clubs and festivals that program equally, and encourage others to do so too. Jan was born in London in the early 80’s and moved over to Germany in a young age. Growing up in Hamburg, he was strongly influenced by Jazz and Blues sounds of the legendary Mojo Club. Still nowadays, you can hear his musical roots in his selection of electronic music. Sending out a message for peace and respect of all human beings with his bluesy guest mix.

We felt it would be appropriate to symbolize with this word the music we like dearly and love to share with you. 

So yes, we decided to start our own podcasts, just so you can spend even more time with music in your ears. Beautiful music.

About the artist : Wandering Pulse is the founder of AEBE collective and event planner. 

He fell into electronic music a few years ago, quickly got around a controller and started digging the best of the underground melodic music around. He is now playing in various events in Paris and beyond.

Enjoy this organic and melodic journey as much as he did recording it.

Wandering Pulse - #1 AEBE Resonance

It was so fun to be a part of a Beate Uwe Barfuß line-up once again! I distinctly remember that in the weeks leading up to it I felt like I really needed to play some sweet tunes in a proper sound system again to release some energy and have a proper dance that leaves me satisfied, so I was actually planning on playing pure dirty dark downtempo bangers that would have me and the fellow dancers stampeding the ground towards the same groove. 

However it was such a last minute booking, i'm so thankful that I was booked to play so spontaneously! There was only one last slot available for me to play at for a Beate Barfuß Sunday event before they closed for the summer brake, which was the opening slot. So when it came to preparing my playlist for my set I realised it doesn't make sense to be opening the club up with loud in your face music, whilst the whole bar staff is also just getting into the vibe of their shift. Which is why i decided to start off smooth and soft so that I could catch the few people already at the venue and the staff together, and for us to be in sync for the remainder of the night. 

I am so happy I did that, as i found it heartwarming and hilarious when at the start of my set the club was fairly empty but the energy was still vibrant! The staff was enjoying the dreamy floaty start of my set so much to the point where even though only few people were there, they FILLED the dance floor with more smoke than I have personally ever experienced in there!
