SAL proudly presents our 2024 Lunar New Year Compilation, featuring a stellar lineup of artists including Kim Ann Foxman, Cora, Why Be, Soda Plains, River Moon, Ennio, and label founder Lawrence Lee. 🧧🐉🌟

The overarching theme that unites this compilation is the sense of nostalgia surrounding familial and ancestral connections 🪷🏞️. This theme holds a special resonance for many of us—some of whom experience it firsthand through their roots and homelands, while others grasp and feel it through the stories passed down to them. We’ve kept this theme open, allowing each artist the freedom to interpret and incorporate it into their music.

At the heart of SAL is our vibrant and supportive community, and this compilation serves to cultivate and share that sense of togetherness 🤲. We’ve brought together artists from diverse backgrounds across East and Southeast Asia, not only calling on close friends and collaborators but also forging new connections with talented individuals.

Her sets are a true reflection of her diverse musical influences, seamlessly merging popular Mexican soundscapes such as tribal as well as Latin club with variations of aleteo and guaracha, an also incorporates  techno  and  breakbeats  into  her mixes, which adds a distinct rhythm and energy to her sound and making her trademark lie in the integration of percussive elements throughout different genres.

She just played the 2023 Mexico City Boiler Room, as well as one of Mexico City's biggest festivals Ceremonia; also has played for Tresor,
Herrensauna, Ein Hunudert, Buttons &
Sapphistry in Berlin; during 2022 was part of the lineup for Whole Festival in Germany and also back in Mexico playing almost the whole circuit of parties playing next to djs such as DJs such as Jeff Mills, Dj Stingray, Tayhana, Nick Leon, Kelman Duran, Ariel Zetina, Jass, DJ Lycox, Nidia, Zut Zut, NKC, NA Dj among others.
Her latest mixtape was released on FACT and in the past she has also released mixtapes Rinse FM, The Lot Radio, NAAFI, HIEDRAH Club de Baile & Odyxxey among others.
