~ "Large Scale Hangover marks the third release for me on система | system. As the other releases I've made, every track has been recorded live on the modular.
The recordings seem to shift to a techno point of no return where I truly enjoy myself. That is to say, techno live improvisation on a huge restrictive synthesizer.
I tried many times to create music while sitting in front of a computer. It didn't work. I need to be standing up and patching. While creating music on a software can be a real game changer it absolutely doesn't work for me. I need to be working live and spend a few hours on a track or I get confused.
The music I make is the reflexion of what happens in my life at that exact moment. The way it is captured live with no way whatsoever to rework it makes it a living entity on its own that tells a lot about myself. My mental health then has a direct impact on the result.
I can't see any other way to do music, it has to be created in the moment, it has become a need." ~ Überkeine

Записи, кажется, переходят в техно-точку невозврата, когда я действительно получаю удовольствие. То есть живая техно-импровизация на огромном синтезаторе с ограничениями.
Я много раз пытался сочинять музыку, сидя за компьютером. Это не работает для меня. Мне нужно работать с железом, чтобы получать удовольствие от производства музыки. Хотя создание музыки с помощью программного обеспечения может по-настоящему изменить правила игры, но для меня это абсолютно не работает. Мне нужно работать вживую и провести несколько часов на треке, иначе я запутаюсь.
Музыка, которую я пишу, - это отражение того, что происходит в моей жизни именно в этот момент. То, как он запечатлен вживую, без какой-либо возможности переделать его, все это делает \тот момент живым существом, которое многое рассказывает обо мне через музыку. Learned barriers of protection aren't always emotionally empowering, uplifting or safe, they can restrict experiencing what you may have always wanted because of being limited by your own experiences. How if you let go of fear you can ultimately become free, more free than you can imagine.

Morality. Believe in the great side of humanity - a humanity that cares about people selflessly and shares true meaning through the words it speaks. The good-hearted side of love. Moving forward can take time to rewind and rewire experiences that conjointly reflects through internal repeated patterns of behaviour. Wanting to live and truly believe in those good things to grow deeper connections and relationships, companionships and love with yourself and others. Feeling comfortable and safe, to become a friend of your inner voice.

The realisation of pushing away something so great and how it can eventually break through to you. Unknowingly you can allow yourself to release your guard and open up a new lease of life.

This has then allowed me to believe in this romantic story.

THE TRACKS:

Love Filled Eyes: Moments where some how without you knowing you stop your past blockading the present and you are able to open up again like petals on a closed flower from the storm. The realisation of pushing away something so great eventually breaks through to you and unknowingly you allow yourself to release your guard and open up a new lease of life. A re-imagination of love.

74: A sonic diary entry of feelings and captured raw emotion during a time that felt overwhelming and confusing. Although intense, times like those can bring togetherness and connectivity to your own-self and those around you. Open up thoughts about future possibilities, choosing which pathway to go down. Being in-between your logic, emotion and opinions over a period of time - this track was a notation of that space.

Two Seats in the Corridor: This track although made last would be the beginning of this story. The concept of seeing someone in the corridor, do you chose to sit next to them and if so do you spark a conversation? If not then that moment will go no further, but what if you do and what if that conversation leads to a number of unknown possibilities, friendships, experiences etc… Creating past, present and future. Long lasting memories.

We are proud to present two new EPs from De Bons en Pierre, the duo of Beau Wanzer @bwanz & Maoupa Mazzocchetti @maoupa-mazzocchetti . Beau Wanzer spends the majority of his days sifting through paraffin embedded animal tissues and reading old issues of Fangoria, occasionally breaking his monotonous routine to record in various fits and bursts. As well as solo material, he is also in numerous projects including Streetwalker, Mutant Beat Dance, Civil Duty, and Corporate Park. Maoupa Mazzocchetti is the pseudonym of Florent Mazzocchetti, a French producer based in Brussels. His sonic vision is one which constantly straddles the line between wild experimentation and rhythmic compatibility, drawing influence from early concrète, 80's tape scene and Birmingham school techno. 
After working together on the ‘Crepes’ EP that we released in 2017, De Bons en Pierre reunited for a two day recording session in Brussels. The duo recorded 13 tracks that we’ve split across 2 EPs with 6 tracks on ‘EP No. 1’ and 7 tracks on ‘EP No. 2’. Beau says, “We hooked everything up and just pushed play. We didn’t really discuss much about the process….it was very ‘spur of the moment’.” The equipment set up included a Roland TR-808, TR-606, SH-101, CR-78, CR-8000, two Syncussions and effects. Each EP contains 25 minutes of dance floor perversions that tackle an array of rhythmic forms. Sludgy synths, serrated percussion and viscous distortion goops over leviathan rhythms. All songs are mastered by George Horn at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley. ‘EP No. 1’ is housed in a sewage green jacket featuring a monster mask duo and spiky motifs designed by Florent Mazzocchetti, and ‘EP No. 2’ is radioactive orange with a different pair of monster masks.

3rd and last show for @noodsradio residency! Thanks for having me send waves thru Bristol’s beloved radio station!
For this one I wanted to have a live feel. This is the opening extract from my last show at ohm in Berlin for kookoo with my bestie Marylou @oiseaudanseur . There’s fuck ups in there too, it’s actually not my best mix sorry :s , there’s volume changes cus the sound engineers kept putting the volume down when it was over the limit, I uploaded “wrong” (what’s wrong anyways?) track ‘cus someone’s coming at you to say “hi!!!”, and that’s why it’s as it is. Hopefully will warm you up and challenge you a bit.
