We’re beyond happy to finally share the very first recording from Refractor.

This one captures around an hour of the captivating live set by the talented French artist trois quarts taxi system, who guided us from daylight into dusk on the second day of the gathering. A sonic passage, subtle yet powerful, weaving us gently through time.

More recordings will follow soon, but for now, let yourself drift back into that moment.

Obtuse Swamp's third ecosystem "Reef Stage” from Berlin based producer Ilayruni dives deep into polyrhythmic slow-mo-feeling spatial sound architectures. With a remarkable evolving narrative, the EP is a constant evolution of both rhythm and spatial soundscapes. This time french producer Arsene Martinet along with London based o.utlier and Caldera give us another perspective of the very bottom of our biome. Cannot end this ecosystem presentation with a huge mention to our beloved biome designer @fredonne delivering another 3D exploration of Obtuse Swamp.

‘Gergely’ is the third EP in the catalog of Stagno Records, marking the debut of the duo Hagva, in-house core project of the label.
Across four extended compositions — Korath, Marianne, Khaini, Leura — Hagva sculpts a guttural sonic geology where time folds and sound gains physical weight. The drones don’t flow, they settle and stratify. The harmonics don’t fade, they thicken and stagnate. Echoes emerge slowly and relentlessly, rising from the deepest trench in the world, to fall again.
It’s a distinct sensation of immersion, driven by a seamless flow of layered soundscapes, aquatic textures and elemental density. It’s not a journey outward, but a pressing descent inward.
It’s the vertical time: a gravitational field of submerged frequencies, tension that breathes slowly, eager to preserve its unique form like mineral memory.

With ‘Gergely’ Hagva opens a world entirely their own: primordial, tactile and unmistakably deep.
There is no map to follow, only pressure points and impulses. Where this record takes you next depends entirely on the landscape of your inner world.

Hagva - Gergely (Previews) [SN003GRGLY]

World of Knots presents 888–890, a collection of “luddite techno” experiments from TKB. 

Recorded on Wurundjeri land with makeshift recording setups and obsessive fervour, the album folds hand percussion, harmonica, smokey drones and field recordings of rural bush Victoria, into dense, rolling atmospheres. This is music best heard without context, marked by smudged patterns and blurred tonal associations.

Heard as individual fragments, the tracks drift from singularly pulsing ritmic meditations into a complex babel of noise and atmospheric commotion. As a whole, the release coheres in contradiction—idiosyncratic rhythms breaking and reforming, familiar characters dissolving into abstraction. Here TKB finds a pace that is bold and concealed all at one. 

TKB’s own Burgan Triangle Tapes imprint, and the cover painting of a forest in Coldstream by Georgia Emslie might provide a frame of reference, but 888-890 resists any clear linearity despite these clues — shaping itself instead as a shifting, environmental terrain.
