These beautiful wild cats with rust-coloured coats and dramatic tufty ears are caracals. Caracals are extraordinary hunters, and in the past in India and Iran they were tamed to hunt alongside humans. Their superpowers are high jumps and they’re known for expertly snatching birds right out of the air. Sightings are rare, making it hard to know exactly how many are left in the wild. Their wide distribution across Africa, the Middle East and parts of Asia means they face multiple threats to their survival including habitat loss and accidental poisonings, as they often eat smaller animals that have ingested chemicals and pesticides. All proceeds from the release will go to Wildlife Vets International to protect these stunning felines and other creatures like them.

Evolved is the collaborative project of Gilles and Pierre, focusing on a wide range of melodic and high-energy sounds.
