Everyone knows cheetahs are the world’s fastest land animal, chasing prey at extraordinary speeds of 120km per hour. As apex predators they are vital for a healthy ecosystem by making sure there aren’t too many grazing herbivores like gazelles and rabbits in one place. This supports grass regrowth and in-turn stops problems like creeping desertification and wildfires. And despite being deadly hunters they’re actually pretty cute - instead of roaring, they chirp, squeak and purr like our domestic kitty friends. Cheetah populations are on the brink of extinction due to climate change and habitat loss. Losing these speedy spotty cats will have a knock-on effect for their whole environment. That’s why we’ll donate all proceeds to Wildlife Vets International.
