The show had been broadcasting for well over 7 years with hosts Jon Rafsta & John Fillary presenting over 200 editions.

We focus on the underground electronic dance music scene with many styles of house, techno, breaks, electronica, drum & bass and dub. 
Basically our music policy is varied and open. We don't have rules to what is played as long as its played from the heart and soul.

Cristian Vargas began DJing in the mid-nineties and quickly became a fixture of South London’s underground house scene.

Often described as deep and dirty, Cristian’s sets move fluidly between tech-house and deep house, combining groove, warmth, and underground energy.

A regular across the UK club circuit, he played at celebrated nights such as Peg, Whoop Whoop, and Wiggle. Alongside Paul Soul, Cristian co-founded the Sizzle parties, hosting an impressive lineup of guests including Asad Rizvi, Jane Fitz, John Larner, Lawnchair Generals, Big Hair, Nathan Coles, Terry Francis, and Harold Heath — as well as a legendary run of boat parties on the River Thames.

His sound has taken him far beyond the UK, with gigs across Bulgaria (Sofia and Varna), and appearances at international events and venues in Glastonbury, Miami Winter Music Festival, Cyprus, France, Costa Rica, Croatia, and Switzerland.

Cristian has also enjoyed success as a producer, releasing original tracks on Baker Street Recordings and Is This Recordings, showcasing his signature deep, rolling style.

Now based in Perth, Western Australia, Cristian has returned to writing and producing new music — with more releases on the horizon. He also co-promotes Sonus Sol, a night he runs with Alex Mac, bringing quality underground house to Perth’s dance floors. You can catch Cristian playing regularly at various venues and festivals across Perth and beyond.

Their musical Influences come from many eras of dance music, the summer of love, the acid house parties, the rave scene of the early 90’s and late 90s trance

With releases on Cleveland City, Into The Groove, Toolbox House, UFORecordz, Zulu, Inner Sense and Vivifier,  the back catalogue is a piano heads heaven, the highlight, working with the 90s legendary vocalist Sara Parker on a remix of her track ‘I Got Something On The DJ’.
