S.I.G. originally formed in 1985 in Stamford, Lincs and consisted of Carole Smith  (vocals), Dale Farrow (guitar and vocals), Danny Goode (drums) and  Andrew Zamorski (bass) playing predominantly original material written by Dale with the odd cover thrown in. Although short lived, the mix of punky/gothy/dreampoppy/twangy songs with both female and male lead vocals has always been Dale’s “thing” musically and during the last couple of years he has resurrected some of the original material along with material written in the interim right up to brand new stuff and as well as the songs the band name has also been resurrected although Dale is the only original member involved. 

Currently S.I.G. is a studio-based project with Dale working closely alongside Del Bartle (The Sid Presley Experience, The Unholy Trinity, Citizens of Nowhere, The Converters, The Godfathers etc) with the aim of completing an album, “Apes, Ivory and Peacocks” with a likely single being “Watch and Wait”. As for live performances, who knows as those involved are rather spread across the country but never say never.

During the lockdown of 2020 Dale wrote and recorded "The Isolation Stomp" at home and this is now available as a download single in support of Rock Off Fibro to help them raise awareness of the debilitating chronic pain condition fibromyalgia as well as depression and PTSD.
