Amiga

Als sich Shennise den Technotrack "Silversurfer" von Hardy Hard/Hardsequencer als Vorlage für eine Hardstyle-Version nahm und uns den Rohling vorspielte, ließ mich das Lied nicht mehr los. Ich wusste ich kannte es aus anderen alten Tagen. Tatsächlich stammt das Stück von Tor Bernhard Gausen (Walkman). Er schrieb das Original 1989 für den AMIGA. Hardy Hard coverte es lediglich 1996 und 2004. Da ich tagelang mit dieser Melo im Kopf rumlief, musste ich mich auch einfach mal dransetzen. Heraus kamen drei sehr unterschiedliche Interpretationen des Stücks.

Jean-Paul developed a passion for computers and electronics at an early age, Born in 1974. His journey into composing began with the purchase of a Commodore Amiga in the late 1980s. Much of his music is rooted in the unique 4-channel audio capabilities of the Amiga. Between 1988 and 1998, he composed soundtracks for several Amiga games, including Odan, The Eggman, Storm, Venturer, and Mysticdream. 

As the Commodore era came to an end, he transitioned to CD-quality music production through a self-built studio, continuing to explore and innovate. 

Now, his work stands as a fusion of retro and synth soundscapes, capturing the spirit of the golden age of gaming and sharing it with the world.
