A Big Apple Moment (feat. my NYC friend... again)

These recordings are work in progress from People's Music band sessions in Chingford, London, hosted Age UK. These are the short snippets of music along the way to creating a new piece of music inspiref by a community quilt being made by Creative Community London.

Soundcastle's People's Music programme supports adults who are looking after their mental health through creative music making. These sessions are funded the City Bridge Foundation, Garfield Weston Foundation and Arts Council England.

Eine Kollision von Feuer und Wasser

Der Track fängt den Klang der verzweifelten Belagerung der Magmafestung Ryftmar im feurigen Reich von Aqshy ein. Stellt euch die Szene vor: Die Festung zerfällt, umspült von den schwefeligen Wellen des Vitriolmeers. Der raue, kehlige Gesang von Mr. Moose M.J. repräsentiert die Fyreslayers – die wilden Zwergenkrieger, Söhne Grimnirs, die mit aller Kraft kämpfen, um ihre sterbende Heimat zu verteidigen und ihre Schmiedeflamme neu zu entfachen.

Im Gegensatz zu ihnen verwandelt sich der Klang in eine kalte, räuberische Bedrohung, verkörpert durch die komplexe, scharfe Instrumentierung von Art95A. Dies sind die Idoneth Deepkin – das grausame Wasservolk, das aus den brodelnden Tiefen aufsteigt, um die Seelen der dem Untergang geweihten Verteidiger zu ernten.
