“Dancing With Angels” is a deeply personal and heartbreaking piece that began as a meditation on one of the most profound moments in Scripture — Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane. After the Last Supper, Christ prayed in anguish on the Mount of Olives, submitting to the Father’s will before Judas’ betrayal. That image of surrender, pain, and isolation was the original inspiration for this track.

But as the song evolved, its meaning transformed from the Biblical to the deeply personal. What began as a reflection on Jesus’ anguish became something far closer to home — the sad and true story of a young man, a troubled soul dear to our hearts, who tragically took his own life in 2005 in an attempt to escape his inner demons. Originally recorded for my debut album Time Machine – Reflecting Shattered Dreams in 2014, this 2025 AI reimagining breathes new life into the song’s haunting orchestration and raw emotion. It now stands as both a lament and a tribute.
