Born on a exoplanet drifting through a massive interstellar void several million lightyears away from any signs of life. He is an oasis in an abyss of chaotic vibrations. The source known only as OPFX has always existed and has only recently been summoned.

Groovi Phreak is a Goa Trance and Full On Psytrance Project from Perth, Western Australia established in 2025.

His main vision as an artist is to transport his listeners from the dancefloor to the cosmos and back through the symbiosis of space and uplifting themed Goa Trance paired with the percussive groove and power of Full On Psytrance.

Expect morphing, fluctuating sound design to tickle the mind to microrhythms which will move your body in ways you wouldn't believe.

Lyo was born in Osaka, Japan and mostly grew up in the U.S. getting many influences from Hip Hop & Break Beats when he was young. When he was 19, he travelled all around Southeast Asia and one of the most spiritual places in the world changed his life, Goa India. He started his career as a Psychedelic / Progressive Trance DJ in 2003, and invited many overseas Artitst & DJ's for gigs in Tokyo. Nowadays, his style is more into Minimal / Tech-house and pushing the boundaries of the next generation of Electronica.
