Nowhere 2024 | Thursday Downtempo @ Kosmozoo

It was another magical adventure with my Bread & Tomato family playing at the McTrepat Urban Burn Exhibition in Tàrrega. Also the first time playing with the incredible electric violin from Alfonsillo 😍. I played the original set trying out the new Denon CDJs and it was full of experimental sounds (good and bad 😅), so I re-recorded it at home. I hope you enjoy this hour of magic from the Middle East and beyond 🧿❤️

DJ ZEBRA -- LE-LEILA (113 x Acid Arab)

For almost 20 years, I have continued my explorations of sounds from elsewhere. A journey that is both inside myself that in connection with outside.

I decided to name this DJ set "Caravan Bass" in memory of these caravans of nomadic travelers transporting spices, material and immaterial objects but especially stories and music collected in the countries crossed. Stories and music that they then shared in turn.

A set that I wanted as a transcendental journey where the traditional folk influences of the world collide gently with the lively bass and beats of electronic music. 

I hope you will enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed making it. Have a good trip...

Sensoma first encountered Goa trance in 1998, and immediately understood that this music and the trance party ritual is a spiritual technology with the power to open the heart and mind to alignment with universal consciousness. It's also incredibly fun to dance to! 

After years as a devoted trance dancer, deco artist and party maker, Sensoma began playing DJ sets around 2010, and has been bringing his particular blend of high-energy active meditation music to forest parties and festivals ever since. 

A longtime member of the T.O.U.C.H. Samadhi trance family based in the southeastern USA, in 2021 Sensoma began producing original tracks in collaboration with T.O.U.C.H. Samadhi founder Kri Samadhi, and an album from the duo is in the works.

Xila, a World Music project created in 2012 by Alix Chauvet. Passionate about production, Xila has been making music on FL Studio since he was 14 and works in a variety of styles with different projects, (Enak) Techno and (Galva) Dirty Electro, but loves mainly compose progressive and groovy oriented music. At the beginning he started to play in RaveParty around 2014 with sounds systems then joined the collective music for a few years in 2016 which allowed him to play on more important stages alongside a great artist.
