Opening with a driving, pulsating, insistent, rhythm, that slowly builds to a break and then ramping up to an atmospheric soundscape with layers of luscious energetic synths that surge and swell. Clavs, strings, horns and fx punctuate the track signalling assertive changes and creating momentum that soars and carries you away on this intoxicating blend of acid funk, jazz, disco house.

Whipd Beats is a disruptor and master of creating different worlds and reinventing herself with every track she releases. In ‘Casanova’ she pays homage to the ‘kings of funk’, who pushed the boundaries and have influenced her creativity; James
 Brown, Parliament Funkadelic, Fly and the Family Stone, Bootsy Collins, Stevie Wonder, and many, many more.

Whipd Beats is a music producer, composer, and song writer from Perth, Australia. In a day and age when high gloss and gimmicks take the place of style and inventiveness Whipd Beats has an open-mindedness and an unorthodox acoustic approach that escapes the usual conventionalities to create music that is electric and fresh. She has been composing, arranging, and producing music since 2008.

In 2018 her Afro-House track "Joie de Vivre" was signed to Italian House label Stereophonic Record and secured a spot at number nineteen on the Traxsource Essential Afro-House Charts. Since then she has bee working on creating a body of work that is a reflection of her passion for House music and its sub-genres. It has taken two and a half years to see the completion of her debut album "Eclectic, released on July 16th, 2021. 

Whipd Beats is unafraid to push the boundaries, when it comes to creativity, she ventures down uncovered pathways, fusing different genres together and trying a variety of approaches to get to the essence of the music and tell her story.  Her album "Eclectic" is full of paradoxes just like its creator! Whipd Beats is a painter who uses colour, weaving moods that are softly textured, with richness, warmth, depth, and soul in her soulful, ambient, jazzy tracks. Her dance tracks are filled with a voluptuous energy guaranteed to move feet on dance floors. Between these two very different tempos lies the personality of the artist, there is a sensitivity that listeners want, and a flawless interpretation that will linger on for a long time to come. DJ Mag Spain gave the album a stellar review in their July 2021 issue.

Whipd Beats music has been used in Art-House films in Perth, Australia. It has also caught the ears of GOGO label owner and DJ Ralf Gum who said 'he loved it'!

Newton Benneti nasceu em Guarulhos, em 1977. Criado no bairro do Cabuçu, ao pé da Serra da Cantareira, ele conviveu com a (boa) música desde sempre. Seu pai é João Nelson, musicista da banda Os Versáteis, que gravou com Tom Zé e Elis Regina. A música eletrônica chegou a ele pelos programas de rádio da Sound Factory. Iniciou a carreira de DJ em 1996, no grupo “Código Negro”, de Guarulhos. O interesse pela música eletrônica vem no ano seguinte e, em 1999, começa a produzir. Apresentou-se em clubes lendários como a Lov.e e raves como a Fusion. Em 2001, muda-se para o interior de São Paulo e começa a faculdade de Filosofia na Universidade Estadual Norte do Paraná (Uenp). Ali atua em movimentos estudantis e segue com a produção musical e apresentações no circuito universitário na fronteira entre São Paulo e Paraná. Em 2010, lançou seu primeiro EP internacional pelo selo Chibar Records, da Alemanha. Hoje continua produzindo e lançando música eletrônica distante do mainstream, e transitando entre diversos gêneros da música eletrônica não comercial. Do Deep ao Techno, com pitadas de psicodelia, Newton B. é DJ da resistência underground da música eletrônica brasileira.
