Mark and Gigi deliver an emotional rock duet, trading verses and blending harmonies over a lush arrangement of electric guitars, live violins, and orchestral strings.

While we’ve preserved the song’s classic spirit, our version adds OMGG’s signature sound — a soaring female/male vocal interplay and a breathtaking extended guitar solo to close.
Every note was captured in pristine studio quality, with the warmth and power that Mannheim Records is known for.

OMGG step back into the golden era of the 1950s with their Berlin 909 Studio rework of the doo-wop classic Mr. Sandman.
This version blends the original’s playful harmonies with a modern twist — Gigi leads with shimmering vocals, K-Rhyme adds slick bilingual rap interludes, and the Fritz Herman Band of Berlin lays down authentic swing-style backing (yes, with the sung “bom bom bom bom” and “snap snap” lines intact!).

To honor the era, the sound was mixed with a vintage jukebox feel: rounded highs, tape-style warmth, and carefully staged vocal layers that feel like they’re echoing across a neon diner late at night.

🎛️ “We wanted it to sound like you could drop a coin in and hear this straight from the jukebox — smooth, glossy, but still alive,” said the Berlin engineer who oversaw the session.

The result: a nostalgic yet fresh take, fusing OMGG’s experimental edge with pure doo-wop charm. A love letter to timeless melody — updated for TikTok, dance floors, and late-night drives alike.

This time we perform *“Linnunradan laidalla”* fully in Finnish 🇫🇮 — as originally written by the legendary Finnish band **Eppu Normaali** (formed 1976 in Ylöjärvi, Finland). They are true pioneers of Finnish rock, shaping the sound of generations.

The song title *Linnunradan laidalla* means *“at the edge of the Milky Way”*. Some key Finnish words in the lyrics:  
- *Valo matkalla jossain* → “a light traveling somewhere”  
- *Huulipunaa paidalla* → “lipstick on the shirt”  
- *Alla tähtien* → “under the stars”  

It’s a poetic love song about timelessness, memory, and how light and love travel across the universe. 🌌  

We will also make a **new English arrangement** — not just a translation, but a reimagined version that flows in English while keeping the spirit alive. This will take time, but we are excited to bring it to life. For now, we hope you enjoy hearing it in its **true Finnish form**. 💙🤍
