Melbourne-based DJ, designer, visual artist and long-time dance floor devotee - cutting her teeth at Melbourne’s underground institution Killing Time in 2013, she grew to become a regular fixture on the techno bar’s line-ups. Amelia has since developed a distinct palette of uplifting beats and a reputation for energising dance floors with good vibrations across a number of events and venues. 

Her unwavering passion for music and rave culture has seen her artistic work spread across several Melbourne venues and festivals including The Liberty Social, Curtin House, Section 8, Let Them Eat Cake, My Aeon and most recently, as a producer of Festival No.23.

Amelia weaves through an extensive understanding of electronic music in this mix, drawing on tribal drum pattern elements with techno-like synth sounds.. curated to push and pull you through this extended journey.

"Sabo’s record label Sol Selectas presents a collaborative release by Spanish artists German Brigante and Yamil. Along with the three originals, the EP also features remixes by Amine K, and Mr. ID.

German Brigante is an eclectic producer whose music has has featured on labels such as Get Physical and Bar 25. He has previously contributed to one of Sol Selectas’ Summer Sol compilations and this is his first full EP on the imprint.

Yamil is already a member of the Sol Selectas family who has appeared on a number of the label's releases as both a remixer and original artist. He has also worked with labels ranging from Super Flu's Monaberry to Pipe & Pochet.

The original tracks are organic house with vibrant percussion and traditional Moroccan instruments layered with sequenced beats. Spain and Morocco are neighbours so share similar cultures, and German Brigante plus Yamil are both influenced by the traditional Gnawa music of Morocco.
Amine K has previously featured on Sol Selectas when collaborating on music with Sabo, but he has also provided solo tracks, and worked with other labels including Tiefschwarz's Souvenir Music and Dave Seaman's Selador.

Mr. ID drops his debut on Sol Selectas after previously working with the likes of Kerri Chandler's Kaoz Theory, and he brings his skilled musicianship and afro rhythms to this EP.

"Kibo" features the incredible vocals and guembri playing of Mehdi Nassouli, and it has a unique organic sound fuelled by the tones of a lush bassline. Its sun-drenched melody synth and dramatic percussion fills give it a great upbeat groove. The remix by Mr. ID, takes the song even deeper into soulful, deep house territory, a style Mr. ID is well-known for. [...]

Hailing from the sunny south of Spain, a historic cradle of vanguard artists, German Brigante native of Malaga makes his way on the basis of talent and effort. These two qualities, are linked directly in the results of what we hear if we attend carefully what German offer us. To this maxims, we must add a musical culture linked to 80-90’s pop and hip-hop that from early age have influenced German. Talking in terms of talent German Brigante has achieved a distinctive and unmistakable sound easily recognizable, capable of making him stand out. We also want to emphasize effort, a quality that together with the innate talent that this artist has, becomes the sum that gives rise to the authenticity tangible in every of Brigante’s beats. These qualities, polished in long studio journeys, plus the love that artist professes to the electro and break-beat sounds in the likes of Prodigy, are the ingredients that have helped to configure the sound palette of this producer. That is why top labels such as Dirtybird, Exploited or Diynamic have released the works of German Brigante. All of these tracks, composed with myriad of details placed in the right time at the ideal moment, received the support of artists such as Solomun or Dixon. Moving forward with the productions that have marked the discography of this artist, we must highlight the icing in the cake, his album Bipolar. Released on Get Physical Music, this work is an exercise in maturity through the 10 songs that complete the LP. At this point of career, German has reached a total freedom in terms of creation. The main result of this is his own record label, Manitox. A place conceived since its inception as the ideal platform, where not only is it shown in the most personal way possible, with productions such as 'Marimba'. This is also the place where he is giving the opportunity to newcomers to show their skills. Artists, in addition to already established names, that we will surely hear about them in the future. We can not overlook his figure behind the decks because we are in front of a DJ that has already visited the five continents. From USA to Australia, with stops in South Africa, in each of these performances he has made clear his unique style and his connection with the crowd. Among all the places he has visited, we can affirm with no hesitation that Argentina and Brazil have been the countries where he most connected to the audience.

Mauricio Brigante born in Colombia in 1983 is a DJ and producer with strong influences in hip hop, Latin sounds providing a lot of energy in his sound, cataloged as a precursor of new technologies his genre.

In his sessions he is characterized by having a musical delicacy that ranges from tech house, afro house and progressive.

It belongs to labels such as Superfett Records, Serrano's Kitchen, Booth Rec among others.

His music has been played by artists such as Claptone, Oxia, Paco Osuna, Danny Serrano among other great artists.

After touring various parts of the world such as the United States, Mexico, Peru, Panama, among other places, Mauricio Brigante began to create his brand of organizing events at a national level. He is one of the artists who contributed the most to the national scene, being CEO of Brigante ENT for more than 10 years and Co-founder of the most important festival in the south west of Colombia THE ZOO FESTIVAL.
