Yet, today, the Berlin-based producer incorporates the macabre into all of his tracks, whether it is just a pitched-down breath lurking in the background or a chilling 80’s-inspired melody. On the other hand, his sets blend industrial and acid techno with darkwave, ghostly soundscapes and horror soundtracks and samples, from the classic “Halloween” to the modern “It Follows”.

For this the 1st in the series they invite 3 new Artists to the label but by no means new to the scene in Codex Empire, Maedon & 7CIRCLE. Also making a welcome return after his debut on VHXX1 is STRISC.

Codex Empire - Since 2014, British born, Vienna based Codex Empire has built an international reputation for dark and intense techno productions and live shows. Combining this background in dark electronic music with heavy rhythmic elements makes Codex Empire an intense and simultaneously danceable experience both live and on record.

Codex Empire has performed over 100 live shows across Europe, Japan, Korea and Canada, as well as numerous appearances in Berlin at Berghain, Tresor, Arena Club, Suicide Circus and BoilerRoom.

Maedon - A native of notoriously grimy Baltimore who spent some seasons in filthy Philadelphia learning the craft, her arrival in New York City circa 2018 signalled a shift in development, one confirmed by the emergence of her Maedon moniker and her partnership with Brooklyn/Berlin techno powerhouse Sonic Groove and its head Adam X. 

Fast forward three years to Berlin, two albums, a residency at Tresor and an entire world later, Maedon forges ahead to the next phase of a rapidly building career. Assuring her future as the world falls apart, Maedon’s bracing sound and undeniable skills are a story now unfolding, with its beginnings already written in grit.

7CIRCLE - At the helm of Destroy to Rebuild, 7CIRCLE is a musical project without boundaries. Drawing from post punk and metal roots, 7CIRCLE navigates across all genres including Techno and Industrial without compromise or frills. 

The journey through the discography of 7CIRCLE is a fascinating path filled with darkness and aggressive sounds which are sometimes embellished with a melancholy touch to satisfy lovers of strong emotions.

The EP kicks off with "Oracular Soul," a relentless, pulsating techno opener that sets an uncompromising tone. "Commissioner of Grief" follows, a dystopian “arabesque’’ journey packed with atmospheric tension and heavy beats. On the flip side, 'Force the Tools Available' draws you into razor-sharp industrial breaks that grip and mesmerize from start to finish. Closing it all out is "Maelstrom of Shit," an apocalyptic ride of syncopated drums and chaotic soundscapes, leaving a brutal, lasting impact.

Biografie:

1995 besuchte Sebastian die ersten Bunker Partys, und entdeckte seine Liebe zur Elektronischen Musik, schließlich fing er 1998 an mit dem Auflegen, unter dem Namen Sebastian Keks.
100% Vinyl DJ mit voller Hingabe, sein Sound ist geprägt vom Techno der neunziger. 
Sebastian lässt sich kaum kategorisieren, gespielt werden verschiedene Sub Genres zwischen 125-150 Bpm.
Als VINYLISMM eher so im Bereich electronic Music und Tech House bis hin zum minimal einzuordnen, als SEBASTIAN KEKS, ganz klar Techno, dies allerdings von Melodic, über Oldschool bis hin zum Hardtechno.

Sebastian gründete mit seinem Zwillingsbruder im Oktober 2000 die Crew Umweltpumpe1, die sich in den ersten Jahren auf Techno Veranstaltungen beschränkt hat.
2002 wurde dann aus Umweltpumpe1 ein kleines Techno Label (Up1 Records),.

Sebastian war von 2004 bis zum Closing 2013 resident DJ im Triebwerk Dresden 

2014 hat er die Veranstaltungsreihen
Nachteulen sowie Berlin Techno ins Leben gerufen

Seit März 2024 Mitglied bei SUT - Secret Underground Techno

2005 hat umweltpumpe1 die erste Party unter dem Namen, Gepflegtes Klopfen im Triebwerk Dresden veranstaltet hinzu kamen weitere in Deutschland und Polen. 
2024 startete ein weiteres Projekt, 
Gepflegtes Klopfen series, ein podcast Kanal.

Ab juni 2025 mit eigener Radio Sendung - Kekscore moments
auf Evosonic Radio, jeden ersten samstag im Monat zu hören.

In 1995, Sebastian attended his first bunker parties and discovered his love for electronic music. Eventually, in 1998, he began DJing under the name Sebastian Keks. A 100% vinyl DJ with full dedication, his sound is deeply rooted in 90s techno. In October 2000, Sebastian and his twin brother founded the crew Umweltpumpe1, which initially focused on techno events. In 2002, Umweltpumpe1 evolved into a small techno label, Up1 Records. From 2004 until its closing in 2013, Sebastian was a resident DJ at Triebwerk Dresden. In 2014, he launched the event series Nachteulen and Berlin Techno. Since March 2024, he has been a member of SUT - Secret Underground Techno.  In 2005, Umweltpumpe1 organized its first party under the name Gepflegtes Klopfen at Triebwerk Dresden, followed by additional events in Germany and Poland. In 2024, another project was launched: Gepflegtes Klopfen Series, a podcast channel focused on publishing techno sets by various DJs without any frills or gimmicks.
2025 start as Radio Host for Kekscore moments, on Evosonic Radio...
