Yshio Project - Cycles

Ricky Razu is one of Belgium's new breed of rising house producers who come from a vast background of jazz, boogie, hip-hop and disco and through the amalgamation of these various styles, he is quickly making name for himself.

Ricky's swing is quite unique, he has been putting his own twist and interpretation on the regular house track by joining the dots between yesterday’s golden era classics and today’s club bangers. As one of Houseum's mainstays, he has also built up a solid presence behind the decks, becoming a regular player in the Belgian and international house scene. During the past years, Ricky’s prolific output has also allowed his sounds to propagate all over the globe, which culminated in a worldwide repertoire of gigs from Europe to the US and Asia. The man has also garnered support from the likes of Jeremy Underground, Bellaire and Subjoi, to name a few, and with his new projects in the pipeline, the future is looking bright for him.

Le Festival Nature is Bike à Angers est un événement important où l'on croise toutes sortes de cyclistes. On y fait de belles rencontres, comme celle que j'ai pu faire avec Loïc Deheux, créateur de la marque canadienne SILA.

Il est venu à Angers pour présenter ses vélos en bois. Pour lui, l'arrivée du bois dans le vélo n'a rien à voir avec l'opportunité de la fabuleuse richesse des forêts de son pays, ni du fait qu'il est ébéniste. C'est encore moins pour lui un concept marketting opportuniste, qui irait dans le sens de l'esprit nature du vélo de gravel.

Pendant plusieurs années Loïc a travaillé sur le projet, s'entourant de spécialistes du monde du vélo, pour concevoir des géométries, et mettre au point un procédé de fabrication. Le bois possède des qualités de confort et de rigidité qui répondent parfaitement aux besoins des pratiquants du gravel. Loïc nous l'explique dans ce podcast ...

this was made last year a bit before the final chain to the events started happening, throwing me into the first pages of a new chapter. alot has happened and as much as i try to ignore it sometimes i'm still just the kid with way too much love in their heart for the world. i think i know what i need to do next but, just as alot of other people i keep putting it off. simply running away from the issue. not out of fear of the issue but perhaps out of a sheer unwillingness to do anything. but livin easy don't get easy if you sit in the mud

Alright, one last Vs.exe remix before I take a break from remixing songs from the mod. And this one was a blast to make, especially the visualizer! We went with a different approach with this one, leaning more into the Genesis side rather than more random instrumentation to fit with the other Genesis-styled tracks.

HUGE props to @echoesaiyan for basically carrying this remix, he did a lot of the vocal recreations used for the remix!

 Fiona Kolbinger a ouvert la voie en 2019, en remportant haut la
main la très difficile Transcontinental Race. Sa victoire devant un pelotons de
guerriers de l’ultra a démontré ce que l’on savait déjà : les femmes possèdent
des capacités intéressantes pour réussir des épreuves d’ultra cyclisme. 
Lauriane Plaçais, comme Fiona, vient de réaliser un exploit en remportant le
Bikingman X organisé par le cycliser aventurier Axel Carion. Elle a pulvérisé
le temps de l’année précédente, en pédalant 1000 km avec 26500 m de dénivelé en
64h31min. C’est la première fois, en 25 Bikingman, qu’une femme remporte une
étape de ce championnat d’ultradistance. Le départ a eu lieu lundi 18 juillet à
5h00 du matin. Laurianne est arrivée le mercredi 20 juillet après avoir dormi 2
fois 35 minutes au total.  

Si, aujourd’hui, Laurianne réalise cette performance remarquable, elle n’en est
pas moins une personne normale, qui aborde le vélo comme nous, avec comme seul
but : prendre du plaisir en roulant.  Laurianne travaille 40 heures par
semaine au service E-commerce de Millet, après son arrivée et après avoir
accueilli ses poursuivants elle est repartie au boulot. Elle est également
mère d’une petite fille de 3 ans et jamais le vélo ne passera devant sa famille
ou son travail.

Les Pays-Bas comptent 18 millions de vélos (plus que d'habitants), Les Néerlandais sont les premiers utilisateurs de vélos dans le monde avant les Danois et les Allemands.

Au Pays-Bas, on dit qu’un Néerlandais « nait, vit et meurt à vélo ». il faut bien dire que le vélo représente 30% des déplacements.

Ce qui explique cet engouement ? Certainement les infrastructures : des pistes cyclables omniprésentes, des parkings géants et aussi des vélos dont la réputation n'est plus à faire... D'ailleurs ne parle-t-on pas de "vélos hollandais"....

En 2002, deux Néerlandais, Rob et Bart, ont souhaité partager et transmettre aux Français la tradition du cycle hollandais en créant Holland Bikes.

Une chaine de magasins et ateliers pour vendre et réparer des vélos, mais aussi et surtout pour accompagner toutes celles et tous ceux qui ont pour ambition de changer de mode de transport.

A Lyon, Holland Bikes s'est installé au printemps 2022 près des berges du Rhône, le long de la piste cyclable la plus fréquentée

Nous avons rencontré Simon Perrottet, ancien collaborateur d’un magasin Holland Bikes à Paris, et aujourd'hui gérant de la boutique lyonnaise.

Holland Bikes est installé  au 28 quai Augagneur dans le 3e arrondissement de Lyon, tout près de la Fosse aux Ours.
