On commence avec Fred Aster duo L Speaks – Jazz Space Pool (2023), une ouverture comme un halo cosmique : des nappes vocales souples, un jeu de basse mystérieusement roulant, une invitation immédiate à flotter dans une dimension où l'âme danse.

Blue & K-White – Now That I Have You (Reconstruction Distance Mix, 2014) reprend l'émotion d’un vieux soul Franklin sur Bobbito, relevée par un rework qui sent l’huile chaude, les clubs clandestins de Chicago à 3h du mat’.

L’Italien Angelo Ferreri injecte dans That Riff (2023) sa géométrie House à la fois claire et crue — c’est un virage sur Berlin-San Francisco, avec un soupçon de parfum de sauna nordique.

OPOLOPO – Bebeccie’s Theme agit comme un sample oublié de promo 90s — pincée d’urbain, soupçon jazzy — un trésor pour les amateurs d’ambiances entre groove et insinuation.

Afro-deep, tech-house, minimas — un voyage polyphonique

DJ Fudge & Kiko Navarro dans So Tight (2015) jouent les maîtres du tempo : afro-house minimaliste, claquements de percussion, tapis de synthés intemporels.

Avec Luvless – Vary In Colour (2018), on entre dans une palette pastel-mutante — deep house qui se déplie comme une toile, chaque beat un coup de pinceau.

Daniel Caesar (2024) s’invite via un Blue Method Edit de Get You : R&B moderne brassé à l’électronique, un pont entre émotion soul et lignes de basse profondes.

Miguel Migs délivre Lost Messages (Migs Salty Vault Dub, 2023) : un dub-house sophistiqué, façon message dans une bouteille envoyé depuis le lounge du futur.

Percée afro-soul, grooves du monde

L’Africa vibrante s’impose avec Fredy Massamba & Boddhi Satva & DJ Satelite – Xe Mana Bella (2020) : beat tribal et chant ancestral comme cercueil solaire.

Adam Port, Rampa, &ME (Keinemusik) – Muye (2018), c’est la House allemande qui s’habille de groove minimal et de sensualité allusive.

Antdot, Tato (BR) & soa (CA) livrent Morar No Mar — mélange de langues, de fleuves, de rythmes tropicaux.

I discovered many new and old gems, curating this music. It's amazing what can be right under your nose but takes you years to properly appreciate. Lessons for life.

My style is deep, vocal and tech house music, influenced by funk, soul and disco; and progressive/tech house and melodic techno/techno, keeping it upfront and uplifting, trying to bring a unique vibe to my sets and letting my 'Resident Grooves' and 'Fusion' DJ mixes reflect these styles. No fancy effects, I prefer to let the music do its thing!

Started out as a warm up DJ to my own small nights in local bars in 2003/4, which eventually led to DJing in the main room of both of the main clubs in Leamington Spa and a Saturday night residency in a Warwick bar, as well playing at specialist nights in Birmingham and Stratford Upon Avon.

February 2008 saw the first of my weekly 'Resident Grooves' DJ mix podcasts debut on Smoothtraxx.gr, and was broadcast every Wednesday for a couple of years, with select mixes also appearing on US internet radio.

I stopped around 2011, but have rediscovered the joys of dance music and DJing again since getting a Pioneer DDJ400!

Franz Costa was born in Italy and from an early age proved to have an innate gift for music. At age 12, he began studying guitar at the academy. Also when He was 12 puts his hands on a turntable, it was love at first sight! He immediately started to practice with scratch and record his first mixes. Within a year he bought a console and has already planned to be a producer. His first productions, characterized by a Dance sound, made him immediately famous in the hinterland. But it is only the beginning!

At 16, his first exhibition in a club and a year later, thanks to Kroton Sound Recordings, released "Boys & Girls", his first single which is also the first sign of his artistic metamorphosis. Franz was gradually defining his personal sound, leaving the rough sound of his first productions and slowing down the bpms to get closer to the sounds of his idols (Paco Osuna and Marco Carola to name a couple), mixing with each other reach his sound.

His career continued with ups and downs, releasing a new track each year, up to 2012 the year of his consecration. He released "Yeah" for Avenue Recordings (Mario Ochoa's label) and then, finally, his first EP "Yellow Bag". Signed up for four labels: Avenue Recordings (Canada), Italica Rec (Italy), Net's Work (Italy) and Adverso Records (Colombia). Precisely for this label releases what can be considered his most successful single "Musica Maestro" who was a resounding success and is played by the best DJs in the world, Uto Karem in the first place. Before the end of the year he releases another single titled “Fingerplay” on Avenue Recordings.
2013 begins on the wave of success of the previous year: soon after the releases of “Amnesia” and “Monotone”. He accords with Patent Skillz (Metodi Hristov's Label) which publishes the single “Don't Bump”. Then comes the releases of his second EP “Never” that sees the light under the label Xima Records and another single called “Alma” with Jekos Music. Everything enclosed in the first 5 months of 2013. the second part of 2013 he is the protagonist of three releases on Jekos Lab, Azul Tunes (his own label) and Habla Music, "Borracho" played by Marco Carola at the closing party of the Music On @ Amnesia, Ibiza. "Random Dialogue" put into his Winter Music On Podcast , and remix of Dubtechie - Hypelow played many times in his parties, consecrate him one of the youngest and most talented producer in Italy.
So…Music speaks more than words...
