We have never been good at keeping secrets, so we proudly share one of Liverpool's best kept secrets - ISO3 / @iiiso3. Also known as Michael Newman, as he returns to People of the Light with the next level Timed EP. Following his contribution to the label’s acclaimed vinyl-only The Educator EP—a heartfelt tribute to Mike Huckaby—ISO3 delivers a trio of sublimely deep and rhythmic tracks that underscore his distinctive sound. Seamlessly merging raw intensity with an edge of soulful depth, Timed EP is a refined modern Techno record which pays its dues to the history of the sound.

Opening with the title track "Timed," ISO3 sets a hypnotic tone with rolling bass, underslung percussive groove, and classic melodic shifts. Each track builds on the momentum of the previous, moving things into a deeper exploration of rhythmic complexity and moody atmospheres. Finishing in a blend of moody synth lines and infectious grooves, balancing emotive depth with more modern ideas. Here at we POTL love bringing back artists whos' sound not only matches our but constantly moving to new places, that's what we are all about.

The Timed EP is a great example of ISO3's evolution and POTL's commitment to releasing music that works with discerning ears.

Nacido en Argentina en 1998 y actualmente radicado en Berlín, EOYYV inició su carrera musical a los 20 años gracias a sus amigos que lo alentaron a comenzar a crear sonidos.
Está centrado en desarrollar su propio material y crear algo fiel a sí mismo. Impulsado por una pasión por las texturas crudas y atmosféricas y los ritmos dinámicos que mueven el cuerpo mientras permiten que la mente divague.
Encontró la paz consigo mismo como productor y DJ. Aunque su versatilidad en el escenario es presente, está más enfocado en el techno mientras sigue explorando diferentes ámbitos de expresión musical.
Ha editado música en sellos como SYXT, Ri7mo, Heist Mode o TNR Media, mientras sigue lanzando música por sí mismo y colaborando con otros artistas que lo inspiran y lo acompañan en este hermoso viaje.

Hyperactive entrepreneur of the London techno scene, French producer Cathédral is here to stay with a growing number of promising projects under his belt. In 2018 he founded with Ømen the London party-turned-label MASS, bringing faster sounds and liberated raves to the capital. In 2020 he launched LABURNŪM Records, a home for emerging artists promoting fast grooves, cut on an exclusive dubplate format. He concentrates his sound on house-infused, old-school-informed grooves, looking back to the 90s and the 00s but all at breakneck speed towards the future.

El legendario productor Orlando Voorn vuelve a estar en el centro de la escena con su nuevo EP Activate, lanzado a través de Dark Distorted Signals. Reconocido como uno de los pioneros del techno, Voorn ha sido una figura clave en la fusión entre el sonido Detroit y las corrientes electrónicas europeas. Su habilidad para mezclar géneros es evidente en esta obra, que refleja un dominio absoluto de la ingeniería sonora.

Dentro de este EP, "Unknown Amounts" se presenta como un corte enigmático pero lleno de poder rítmico, encapsulando lo mejor de su herencia electro-techno. Con una duración breve pero intensa, el track equilibra líneas de sintetizador oscuras con patrones de percusión minimalista, diseñados para explotar en el ambiente de club. La producción detallada deja claro que Voorn sigue experimentando sin perder su identidad artística.

Este trabajo no es simplemente un retorno; es una declaración de intenciones. La recomendación del sello es clara: "¡Tócalo fuerte!", y sin duda, "Unknown Amounts" tiene la fuerza para ser uno de esos temas imprescindibles en las pistas este año.

From East Yorkshire - UK,  At 19 Betty Gee took her first steps into the legendary club, the Orbit in Morley - Leeds. It was her first taste of what REAL music and Clubbin was. Instantly hooked, she found herself dancing to Dj's such as Dave Clarke, Ben Sims, Billy Nasty, Carl Cox, Ignition Technition, Jeff Mills, Sven Vath, Adam Beyer, Dave Angel & many more,  not long into her new found Love of The Orbit, she got her first set of Decks, now Betty Gee is able to show her driving style , creativity and  seamless mixing skills. So far, 2024 has seen her Dj with Mark Broom, Billy Nasty, and most recently with one of the best ever DJs'   Mr Ben Sims!!
